Third Person's Point Of View

When Chaeryeong finally woke up, she could smell her favorite vanilla scent, which is sweet, rich, syrupy, and radiates warmth in a uniquely alluring way. Apart from her hard breathing, the room was deafeningly quiet. She gently opened her eyes, squinting to try to focus on the hazy sights in front of her. She took a look around her bedroom, which was decorated in a soft beige, white, and cream color scheme.

She tried to remember what had happened as she closed her eyes once more. Then, everything suddenly hit her like a ton of bricks. The memory of it all starts to take over her thoughts.

We were almost kidnapped.

Lia sighed in relief as she entered Chaeryeong's room and said, "Chaery! Thank God you're awake already." She sat next to her on the bed and inquired, "How are you feeling?"

"I feel fine... W-What happened after I passed out?" the brunette pushed herself up and sat properly while softly massaging her temple.

Lia replied, "Unfortunately, the men escaped before the rescuers arrived," which caused Chaeryeong's eyes to widen. "But don't worry, Ms. Shin has one of the men's faces captured in her phone, and they're now tracking him." She immediately added.

Chaeryeong exhaled a sigh of relief as she heard the news. Those stalkers should be held accountable for their actions. They need to know what their agenda is and who they are.

"I'm glad to hear that, unnie," She said.

Suddenly, she became nervous when she remembered it was because of them that they were in trouble with those stalkers. Because they ran away from their bodyguards, their father will most likely tighten security once more.

A knock on the door caused Lia and Chaeryeong to both turn their heads. A man wearing casual attire and with messy hair was visible when it opened just a little.

He pouted, "May I come in, noona?"

Chaeryeong chuckled when she saw their youngest sibling. "Of course, Taehyun. Come here," She remarked with a smile.

When he entered, he dragged a chair next to her bed. He had a worried expression on his face as he looked at his older sisters.

"I heard what happened earlier; are you two okay? Did they hurt you?" His eyebrows furrowed in response to his questions.

The idea that their little brother might be worried made the sisters smile. As Lia found him to be adorable, she reached out and softly tousled his hair.
