after ace explained that the "fake rebel army" was in eba to scab food and resources by posing as "protection" it was decided we should scare them away, see them "pay" as put by some... others.

"are you gonna help us alvena?" asked luffy enthusiastically.

"i suppose" she hummed.

"YEAHHHHHH LETS GOOO" and the group was off.

during the setting up of the plans ace explained there was 4 "rebel army soldiers" and that none of them had a "logia" (whatever that is) and had next to no fighting skills.

"alvena, i just need you to help us scare them, be intimidating, like a pirate" nami said thoughtfully finding a spot for the dark haired girl in their plans, they didn't know her yet and could only give her a job with less responsibility.

alvena hummed in agreement, she knew intimidating and if anything good came from her fire nation genes, it was the power and strength their gaze has, their golden eyes piercing most peoples chests.

so they got into position and waited.

it wasn't long until 4 people ran out, ranging from tall to short, large to small, but all very clearly not soldiers.

atleast nothing compared to the soldiers ive seen.

luffy stood menacingly infront of the entrance gate to eba, being the first to catch the soldiers eyes. they sweat dropped, obviously shaken by his appearance and the shadows casting over his eyes caused by his hat.

next to catch their eyes was a smoking sanji and usopp with his arms crossed loosly over his chest. the fakes grew more unstable and the sweat in their faces increased tenfold, the sight of such seemingly powerful and dangerous people suddenly breaching their minds.

they turned rigidly, searching for an escape only realising they had been surrounded when they saw the buff form of chopper and the menacing and grueling sight of zoro who's ugly mug would scare anyone away.

the group seemed to sweat drop at the sight of the crew, realising seemingly, they were absolutely screwed.

vivi, nami, ace and alvena remained hidden, watching the advances, listening as the town yelled for the soldiers to "get em".

"what's that? you're a rebel soldier?" spoke luffy, one eye visible as he lifted his head, the sun only reaching his eyes enough to show the blacks of his pupils and the glowing whites of his eyes.

the leader of the group choked and began to ramble.

"no, no , no, we are nothing of the sort, we are just simple travelers passing through" he wailed and tried to reason, getting cut off by a short man climbing on the entrance pointing to the group of "sand pirates"

"SAY YOUR PRAYERS, YOU DASTARDLY SEA PIRATES are DEAD! THESE BRAVE REBEL SOLDIERS ARE GOING TO MAKE MINCE MEAT OUT OF THE LOT OF YOU."
he exclaimed

"STOP TALKING YOU'RE MAKING IT WORSE" screamed the fake leader, his eyes going white in panic and tears flooding his face.

there was a small argument between the two that alvena couldn't quite hear, focusing on luffy.

"loser, guys are spineless as a jelly fish. completely unreliable." spoke nami, persuing a conversation with nami, alvena awaited her signal from the captain.

and then she got it.

alvena briskly walked out head down, foot steps barely even touching the ground, her back slouched and hands shoved into the deep pockets of her pants as she moved towards the captains side.
