*This is gonna be a long chapter!! So be prepared, also the above art isn't mine. I'm actually not sure where it's from! But it's amazing!*
I awoke on the morning of the sports festival. Even though I wasn't going to participate. My anxiety for the event was intense. I had been training with Shoto every day after school. Helping him prepare and also keeping myself on track with the others. I got my hair finally fully braided and ran down the stairs. Almost tripping down them. "Morning Scar!" Dad greeted me in a nice suit. "Morning dad!" I yawned while saying. "Well let's get going if we're going to beat the traffic," I nodded.

"Alright scar," he put his hand on my shoulder. "If you feel anything strange, call me or Aizawa. I don't care how minor," I nodded. "Don't worry, dad. I haven't felt strange since that day. In fact.......," I kinda drifted off. "What?" I snapped back to reality.
"Ah! Nothing!" I started waving my hands, we exited the car. "I'm proud of the woman you've become scar," he said as he kissed my forehead. "Thanks....dad," I choked back some tears. "Alright!" He was choking back tears too. "You best be going before journalists find us together!" I nodded and ran for the side of the building waving him goodbye. I was gonna say in fact, I'd love to participate in the festival.....but I knew that's just break his heart. Today's supposed to be a happy day!I found my way into the entrance of the sports festival after having my bag searched. I walked down the long line of concession stands. Awed by all the busyness and smells. I was so distracted by everything I realized how much time I wasted around here. I was gonna miss my chance to see my classmates. I was shown where I should sit but I wanted to see everyone first. Especially Shoto and Izuku to wish them luck. I ran down the hall and saw Lida barge into a room. I stayed in the hallway, kinda embarrassed to face all them after my opting out of the festival. Some of them had to find out today because I wasn't brave enough to tell everyone.
I heard Shoto being cruel and cold to Izuku. Shoto and I had talked about his opinion on Izuku but I didn't know Shoto had this much resentment for him. Izuku retorted his declaration with a declaration of his own. That just like everyone else he was gonna give it his all. Shoto exited the room first I grabbed him and pulled him down another hallway. So we could talk. "Shoto!" I hissed at him, his eyes widened then softened. "It's good to see you," I glared at him. "Don't play nice with me while you're being mean to our classmate!" I whisper yelled, he looked shocked. "You heard that,"
"No of course I didn't, that's why I'm totally not bringing it up!" He smiled a bit. "Someone's angry a bit today, aren't you supposed to be cheering me on?" "Look how snarky you're being," I pinched his cheek. "I won't cheer for a jerk," he looked hurt by my remark, he thought a moment. "......perhaps I was a bit harsh to Izuku," "a bit?" He looked down. "I was being childish," I laughed a bit. "You were being jealous. All might has an eye on izuku and not on you. I know how much you admire all might," "Perhaps," I grabbed his hand and squeezed. "After the sports festival, talk to Izuku and patch things up. Okay? You just have a hard time expressing your feelings," "maybe," I huffed. "I hate when you respond with one word answers. It always means you don't want to hear what I'm saying," "sometimes," "you're impossible," "I know," he smiled at me.
I flicked his forehead. "Good luck shoto, don't hold back," I winked at him and ran down the hallways to my assigned seat before I was thrown out by security. As soon as I took my seat, Present Mic's voice echoed through the arena. "Hey!!! Pay attention, audience!" The crowd went crazy. Mic went on to hype up the audience and presented my fellow first years. I screamed seeing them enter. Even though Izuku was miles away I could tell he was dying inside. I'd be just the same in his shoes. I giggled to myself, a bit relieved I'm not participating. Mic introduced the other first years.
