I looked up to the sky and felt the rain splash on my face as I walked to school. Cool breezes reminding me, I am still alive. I opened my eyes to the dark rainy clouds. Suddenly my vision was blocked by an umbrella. "Forget your umbrella, silver?! What an idiot," "Good morning to you too Bakugo. Congrats on the win," he scoffed. "Not really a real win unless you beat everyone!" I smiled and walked ahead of him letting the rain hit me some more. "You wanna catch a cold or something?!" He hurried next to me putting the umbrella over me once again. I laughed at him a bit. "What's so funny?!" I sped up a bit, getting out of the range of the umbrella. He sped up with me and tried putting the umbrella over me once again. Before he could I started to run ahead, He chased after me. He eventually stopped and I stopped as well. "What the hell are you doing Silver!? Are you that dumb?" I laughed some more. "What afraid of a little competition?" I smirked and ran off toward the school. I could hear him chasing after me then started using his quirk. Speeding off ahead of me, I smiled at him and stopped running. He lost his smile and got angry. "Baku-!" I went to yell but he hit a tree before I could voice my warning. I ran up to him and tried helping him up. He pushed me off. "I don't need your help!" He screamed, He got up with a cut cheek. "Bakugo," I said softly, he looked at me. I took my thumb and wiped the cut, sealing it up. He slapped my hand away. "The hell are you doing?" He started rubbing his cheek. He looked at his hand and saw the blood.
"Did you-?" A distant bell rang out. "Never mind, we gotta get to school," we walked the rest of the way under his umbrella even though both of us were already drenched. We made it to our lockers and I brought some dry towels with me, I handed one to Bakugo. "I'm not stupid, I just like walking in the rain," I smiled at him. He snatched the towel and dried his hair until it was spiky again. "I'll bring this back to you tomorrow, I'll clean it," he said stuffing the towel in his locker. "Cool! thanks!" I said while I closed my locker heading to class. I sat in my chair and looked out at the rain, smiling. Most of the class was talking about how they were being recognized. I couldn't relate since I didn't participate in the festival but was happy for my classmates. Thankfully no one was asking me about dropping out of the festival or the incident. I had to hold back a laugh when Tsu teased Hanta about the don't worry about it.
Uncle walked in without bandages. I was glad to see him doing alright. Aizawa announced that we'd be choosing our hero names today. I was as excited as the others cheering for joy. After my self reflection, I have the perfect name I wanna see if it's approved. The names were to be used for drafts. Aizawa then showed us everyone's offers after the sports festival. Shoto was first, Bakugo second, Fumikage third, Lida fourth, and of course I didn't have any. Others didn't either so it made me feel a little better but I shouldn't worry my internship is already planned out. I then realized Izuku didn't get any, unfortunately the pros probably thought his quirks dangerous. Suddenly Ms. Midnight came into the classroom.
She was going to help us with our names today. Dry erase boards were passed out to write our names on. We had fifteen minutes to come up with some names. I immediately knew what I wanted to write and flipped my board over so no one could see it. I looked out the window to see the light rain some more. Ms. Midnight interrupted my thoughts announcing that we'd be presenting our names. I gulped hard and my nerves started going. My classmates were also shocked by the announcement. Aoyama stepped up first. "Shining Hero: I can not stop twinkling!" He shouted to our class. Ms. Midnight shorted it to can't stop twinkling, but it was accepted.
Next was Ashido. "Alien Queen!" She shouted but Ms. Midnight was not a fan. She walked back to her seat sadly. Tsu wanted the next turn. "Rainy Season Hero: Froppy," Ms. Midnight said it was friendly and cute. Her name was a great example of a hero name everyone will love. Most of the class started cheering Froppy. Kirishima went next. "Sturdy Hero: Red Riot," he was paying homage to Crimson Riot which I thought was a pretty cool hero too. Although I like all hero's if I'm honest. I swallowed my fear and raised my hand. "Can I go?" Ms. Midnight nodded and I walked up to the podium.
