I hadn't realized how close it was to final exam time. I'm sure I'd do fine, it just came as a shock how fast time has went by. With everything that's happened I guess that explains why it seems like yesterday I walked into this classroom for the first time. I stopped zoning out when I noticed a lot of our class clamored around Yaoyorozu. She did rank number one after all, I came in fourth place. She looked so sweet, excited about having company over at her home. "Wanna go over something's together?" I smiled at Shoto. "Of course, I assume you wanna come to my home this time," he thought a moment. "Whichever one you're more comfortable with. If you prefer coming to my house then we can do that," I shook my head in protest. "N-no it's alright, I'd be nice to show you my home," I smiled at him. "Then it's settled," I nodded, then the bell rang.We sat with Izuku, Lida, Tsu, and Ochako. I looked at Shoto's bandaged arm that still hadn't healed fully from stains attack. I offered to heal it on multiple occasions but he never let me. During lunch everyone was talking about the coming up exam. I listened and just messed with my food. Not really in the mood to eat. Then a student from class 1-B hit Izuku on the head purposefully. I rose from my seat and Shoto grabbed my arm. Monoma was what Izuku called him. "Just like a student from class 1-A to start trouble, huh?" He taunted me. I tried stepping closer to him but Shoto held me back. He basically insulted us by saying we're cursed and nothing but trouble. "You're just a jealous prick that has to berate others to feel good about yourself. Go sit down before you start something you can't finish," i stated coldly. I've never liked people who picked on others.
And I'm tired of just ignoring it too. Before he could say anything else. The ginger girl with the big hands hit him. She apologized to us for him. She overheard the discussion about the exam and informed us we'll fight robots like the entrance exam. Monoma woke up and started rambling but she hit him again, dragging him off. Good riddance I say. I sat back down and we all continued talking. As we walked back to the classroom Shoto grabbed my sleeve. He pulled me back so we could talk. "Something wrong?" I asked. "I was about to ask you the same thing. Why didn't you eat? Not feeling well?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Hm I guess I wasn't hungry," he looked at me studying my body language. "Okay just checking, lets head back to the classroom," I smirked. "I'll race ya," I tagged his arm and ran down the hall.
Izuku informed our classmates we'll be fighting robots and they rejoiced. Relieved they could just go all out then Bakugo called out Izuku that he'd do better than him in the exam. There wouldn't be half assed results. He threw a glare at Shoto and me. Then stormed out of the classroom. After class I walked with Shoto to my home. I opened the front door and pointed to where he could place his bag.
"I'm gonna make us some food, you can sit and watch tv while you wait, if you'd like," I said while getting some pots from our cabinet. "I could help if you'd like," I shook my head. "It's okay, you're my guest I got it," he headed to the living room and set up our books to study on the coffee table. I set down the ramen I made with some berry tea. "Your home has a very nice and comforting feel to it," I smiled at him. "Thanks Shoto, I love your home as well. Your sister is very sweet," "if you don't mind me asking, where's your dad?" I thought a moment of what to say.
"He works random hours at his office, I never know when he's gonna be home. Usually he's in long meetings," "I see I'm sorry, it must get quite lonely," I looked down at my tea. "At times........but ever since we become close I haven't felt as lonely," "I'm happy to hear that,"we talked for a bit then went to studying. Shoto was better at Japanese literature than me but I was the better at math.
"My brains fried," I said after a bit and laid down on the floor, stretching my back out. "Wanna take a break outside?" I nodded and He helped me to my feet. We went to my back yard. "Sorry, my yards not as nice as yours," I rubbed my arm, he pinched my arm. "It's prefect," we sat in the grass and I taught him some meditation I learned from vlad. "It's much more effective with the incense and music if I'm honest," I admitted. "I haven't felt relaxed and carefree like that in a long time.......in fact being around you always makes me feel that way," I smiled. "I'm glad, I feel the same around you," the sun was setting on our time together. "You should probably get going soon before it's dark," he nodded and grabbed his things. I hugged him goodbye. "Be safe, text me when you get home," he nodded and waved me goodbye, I waved back.
