I woke up in the middle of the night. Tears falling down my face. I sat up and felt something fall onto my lap. It was Shoto's arm, that's when I realized I was in his room. I wiped the tears off my face. Nighteyes death is gonna be a recurring nightmare......I can feel it, probably won't be able to sleep peacefully for awhile. I took a couple of deep breaths, no matter what anyone says. I still feel, I'm to blame for his death. If I had more control over my quirk I could've saved him. I also wouldn't have gotten Mirio severely injured. Shoto's arm gripped my waist tightly and he grumbled a bit.

He's so peaceful and adorable when he sleeps. I smiled at him and moved some hair out of his face. "Hmm," he grumbled some more. I wonder what he dreams about, I hope he has pleasant dreams. I watched him for awhile until his eyes started to flutter awake. I panicked and tried to lay back down. "Were you watching me sleep?" His eyes met mine and a smirk formed on his lips. "I don't know what you're talking about," I dismissed his claim as he sat up. He chuckled at me and a bit of sadness overcame his face.

"Nightmares?" He asked simply. "H-how did you know?" He placed his hand on my face. "Even though you wiped them away. I can see the tears tracks on your face," he rubbed his thumb against my cheek. "I'm fine, you know. I've always had a hard time sleeping. Nothing new," I shrugged. "You should get some more rest, Shoto. You've got your provisional license lesson tomorrow. It's really early isn't it?" I told him. "Do you wanna talk about your dream?" I sighed and flopped back down on the bed. "You need to sleep," he laid beside me. "So do you,"

"I never get good sleep, I just wish you'd try and go back to bed," he wrapped his arms around me. "Then try to go to sleep with me," I wrapped my arms around his arm. "Alright, I'll try," I laid in his arms for I don't know how long. I could hear his soft breaths, deep in slumber. As I laid there, pain in my thigh and shoulder began to act up again. I slowly got out of the bed and headed downstairs to get my pain relief medication. As I walked past the bathrooms, I saw someone doing push-ups by the dining table.

"Oh good morning Katsuki," he looked up at me, sweat dripping from his face. "What are you doing up, cluts?" He continued the push-ups "I couldn't sleep.....what about you?" I went into the kitchen and filled the kettle with some water. "Trying.......to......catch......up," he said between push-ups. "Oh, are you doing extra training to get your provisional license faster?" He stopped and rolled onto his back, breathing heavily. "You could say that.....I guess," I poured the hot water into two mugs. Then added the tea bags with some sugar.

I walked over and sat next to him. "Here," I offered him one mug. "I would've preferred something cold," I blushed from my ignorance. "Right, my bad. I'll get you something-," he grabbed the mug before I turned away from him. "It's whatever, it'll do," he took the mug from me. "I could get you some ice," I offered. "It's fine," he patted the ground next to him, beckoning me to sit. I obliged and sat down. We didn't talk as we drank our tea. Once we were finished drinking, I offered him some more. "One cup was plenty for me," I went to grab his cup to go and clean it. Before I could, he grabbed my hand. "What happened to your shoulder and thigh?" He examined the braces with his eyes.

"The work study mission was a difficult situation......we haven't been given permission to talk about it. I'm sorry," he scoffed and let my hand go. "Bet you told icy hot," I shook my head. "I don't go against orders Katsuki. Only those who were on the mission know what really happened," he looked at me. "Whatever, guess, I believe you," I chuckled a little. "Why can't you be nice? It's only us down here. You've let your kinder side show with just me and you before," he rolled his eyes. "I AM nice when I talk to you," I put my finger to my chin. "NicER not completely kind, like I know you can be,"

"Whatever," I shook my head at him. "How are your provisional license lessons going?" He shrugged his shoulders. "Would've rather already had mine. Like the majority of our class," he said a bit sad. "Just because you didn't get your license," I placed my hand on his shoulder. "Doesn't make you any less worthy of being a hero," he pushed my hand off. "What would you know? You got yours," he pouted. "Just because I received mine doesn't mean I'm stronger or better than you. I know it probably can feel like that but,"
