Mack pov

I woke up at 9 a.m. and looked out my window. A stray dog? He was so cute, a little lab puppy, no tags, no collar, and very skinny. I brought him in and fed him some bread, he was black and had a pinkish nose and needed to be groomed. I turned on my phone and asked Siri

"Where is the nearest pet groomer"

"Finding pet groomer"

There was about 3 dozen pet groomers, but I chose a local business called Dog Cuts...very original.

I got to Dog Cuts and the lady at the groomers, her name was Abbi, asked

"What's this pups name"

"He doesn't have one, I found him on the street"

"Well I'm going to give him a trim, then I'll give him a check up and we will go from there"

She was sweet, but I couldn't tell if it was fake or not.

"Sounds great"

When they finally came out they told me

"So your little pup is 6 months, is female, had fleas but we treated her, and here is a list of recommended items for her, and you shall by her a collar and make her tags"

"Thanks" I said pulling out my wallet "how much will it be"

"40 dollars, but about and extra 68 for the stuff she needs"

"Ok here" then a thought popped up "Are there any jobs open"

I loved dogs, I needed a job. This is perfect, if they let me get a job.

"Well there is an opening in the grooming center"

"I'll take it"

"Well, you'll need to do some paperwork, and I'm the boss, so I'll need to check your background"

"Alright, I'll go shopping for daisy then"

"Daisy?" She questioned

"That's her name" I said "daisy"

I got the job, I make 8.50 an hour and work 6 hours each day. I work on Tuesdays, Thursday's, and Sunday's, and I'm so happy that my life here is going to ok. I got home at about 6:30 after a day of shopping for Daisy. She was already looking great, I got her a dog license, a collar, some treats, a giant bag of dog food, and a leash, they said she needed walks. Wow,I thought as I set up daisy's dog bed, how did I even get here. My hole life I'd never even thought I could be here in Ireland, and away from everything. My life has changed, and I think it is for the better.
