Chapter Eleven: Spikemuth

Hey guys welcome back to Bonds of Armor. I'm very sorry for not updating like I should be, but school has started back up and I've been working on assignments and my part time job. But I'm back with another chapter for the story, I hope you guys have been enjoying the story so far and please let me know what I can improve on next time for the next Chapter. Let's get on with today's chapter.

The five had managed to get to the entrance of Spikemuth despite the storm, but there they were entering the entrance to the city. Once they entered, the immediately went to the Pokémon Center to heal up their Pokémon before heading out to the see the town. When their Pokémon had finished healing they set off to the Main Street of Spikemuth where Marnie showed them around her home town.

"Alright guys I'm going to show you around Spikemuth before we meet my brother." Marnie said, as she was leading the group.

"So Marnie what can you tells us about your hometown?" Hop asked.

"Well most people would look at it like a gang affiliated town, but deep down it's just another town. The people here are really nice and there is a little bit to do not much but a good amount." Marnie said.

The continued walking and going through different shops along the way. They stopped at a restaurant that Marnie use to go to when she was younger and absolutely loves. They entered the shop where they were greeted by the shop owners who recognize them as well as Marnie.

"Hello and welcome to "Spikemuth Meal"!!"
The shop owner says looking at Marnie.

"Hello Mr. Wong it's nice to see you after a long time." Marnie said as she approaches the owner.

"Hello Marnie it's also nice to see you as well, and you brought friends as well, let me treat them to a meal. Please have a seat." Mr. Wong says as he prepares them a table.

"Thanks Mr. Wong we really appreciate it." Marnie said as her and the other took a seat.

"It's no worry morning it's good to see you after you left for your journey and I see that you made a few new friends along the way." Mr. Wong said as he looked at the group.

"Oh yes before I forget these are my friends who I met along my journey. This is Gloria, Hop, Bede, and Victor." Marnie introduced them and they said their greetings to Mr. Wong.

"It is nice to meet all of you and thank you for being fineness with Marnie." Mr. Wong said to them.

"It's no worries sir Marnie has been a good friend to us as a person and as a trainer." Victor said looking at Marnie.

This caused Marnie to blush a lot, but she did her best to hide from the others. After the formalities were done Mr. Wong took their orders. Marnie suggested to them to have their Spikemuth special, which consisted of a very special curry with a side and any drink of their choice. The rest agreed to it and Mr. headed to the back to get their food ready. While waiting for their food the others decided to ask Marnie questions about her life in Spikemuth.

"Marnie what could you tell us about your life here in Spikemuth." Gloria asked.

Marnie wasn't really sure how to answer the question or if she wanted to tell the others about her past life, but she knew she could trust them. However, she couldn't form words to say to her friends, until Victor stepped in.

"Hey guys let's try not to pry Marnie I'm sure she needs time to figure out her words." Victor said standing in for her.

"It's okay Victor, I'm just having trouble making words happen, but I promise I will tell y'all soon." Marnie reassures them.
