Hey guys welcome back to the story. I apologize for the biggest delay ever almost 6 months without an explanation or update. I hope y'all will forgive me. I hope y'all will enjoy this chapter today and I hope to get more out before the year is over. Enjoy the story.
The next morning came in Wyndon and four trainers were ready for this day. It was the that most of Galar have been waiting for since the announcement of the Gym challenge. Today was the Pokémon Gym Challenge Championship. Four trainers have made it to the final, but only would earn the title and get the chance to go against Galar's undefeated champion Leon. They knew that one of them would make it and they hoped to have fun with each other. The four entered the area where they were introduced to the crowd, the gym leaders, and the champion himself.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I welcome you to the match we have been waiting for here at Wyndon Stadium. I am Chairman Rose of the Pokémon League along with your champion, Leon." Chairman rose announced as the crowd roared loudly.
"We also have our Gym leaders here with us today to spectate the match and see who will come out on top." They announced as the Gym leaders walked out onto the field.
"I would like to introduce the four trainers who have proven themselves worthy to stand here today. Please welcome out gym challengers. First we have Bede one of the chairman's trainers."
"Next we have Marnie, little sister of our Dark gym leader Peirs."
"Now we have Hop, little brother of our own Champion Leon."
"And finally we have Victor, who has come far and has impressed many of our gym leaders."
The stadium roared with excitement as the four of them went onto the field waving at the crowd. In the crowd we can see Gloria along with, Sonia, the Professor, Hop and Victor's mom, as well as team yell. They four stood there at the center taking in what could be the match of the century.
"As we begin the first round of the match let us look at the Jumbotron and see who will go against who. "
The Jumbotron turned on and it showed that Hop will go against Bede and Victor will play against Marnie.
"And there you have it folks Hop will face off against Bede in the first round so let's get started."
Victor and Marnie headed off the field along with the gym leaders as Bede and Hop prepared them selves for their battle.
"You know I always knew we would fight against each other in the finals." Bede said as he went to his side of the field.
"Same to you man let the best man win." Hop said as went to the opposite side.
They started the battle as they sent their first Pokémon out. The battle was fierce as both players gave it there all. Pokémon after Pokémon, attack after attack it was unsure who could win and the crowd was cheering with excitement. As both players were down to their last Pokémon, they made sure to end this with a finale. Hop's Inteleon Gigantimax as well as Bede's Hatterene. Both Gigantimax Pokémon fought to their best. In the end Inteleon defeated Hatterene and the match was over.
"Our winner of the first round goes to Hop!"
The crowd cheered for Hop and Bede as the match was spectacular. Hop and Bede met up at the center of the stadium.
"Congrats Hop that was an amazing match man." Bede said shaking his hand.
"Thanks Bede right back at you." Hop said as both them headed off the field to meet up with Victor and Marnie.
"Hey you two that was an amazing match y'all had." Victor said as he came running to them with Marnie.
"Yeah same can't wait to see who you fight against Hop it's either me or Victor." Marnie said.
