Hello everyone it's me and I'm back for chapter 15 of Bonds Beyond Armor. Im so glad that y'all have stuck by me since the beginning and im so grateful to everyone who put this story in their read list. I want to apologize for my very long absence I am in my last 2 years of college so I'm almost to the finish line and life has obstacles that I need to face. I hope y'all will continue to support me though my journey and hope that I can post more in the upcoming months.
The finals were about to begin and Victor had never been more nervous in his life. This was the moment he dreamed of as a kid and since the beginning of his journey. However this also meant that he must fight against his best friend for the title and the chance to fight Leon. Victor did not want to denied Hop's chance at fighting his, but deep down he knew it was the only way for him to achieve his dream. It was at this time that a knock came in the room that Victor was staying in.
"Come in." Victor said as the door opened revealing Hop had entered.
"Hey Victor, what's up." Hop said as he entered.
"Not much just preparing for our match today." Victor answered gathering his bag.
"Cool hey man I just wanted to let you know that I want us to have an honorable battle. I know we been friends our whole lives but this the chance we been waiting for since we were young. Now we can see which one of us is the strongest and strong enough to take on Leon." Hop said with such passion.
"Alright Hop we will battle with everything we got and we will be friends forever." Victor said as he gave Hop a bro hug.
"And speaking of forever, I heard a little rumor that you and Marnie are together." Hop said causing Victor to go red.
"Wh..what who you hear that from?" Victor asked as he stuttered.
"Gloria told me this morning since she rooms with Marnie." Hop answered.
"Yeah me and Marnie are together now and I never been happier." Victor said happily.
"Congrats man I'm happy for the both of you, so get everyone and head out to the stadium." Hop said as he exited the room.
The two of them made there way down the elevator to the lobby. As they arrived they saw Gloria, Marnie, and Bede waiting for them.
"Hey you two ready for your final match?" Gloria said as you approached them.
"Yeah ready than ever." Hop answered.
It was at this time that Marnie came up to Victor and was talking with him. The group started to head out to the stadium and entered the locker room. Hop and Victor made there way to the field, just after their friends and family congratulated them for making it to the finals. Marnie to the side gave Victor a quick kiss on the cheek for good luck causing Victor to go red. After everyone had left to go to their seats in the crowd Hop and Victor headed to the field to have their battle.
"Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the finals of the Gym Challenge after yesterdays semi finals we are all excited for this match." The announcer said getting the crowd louder and louder.
"Without further ado let's introduce the challengers, coming from Postwick and our champion's little brother and number one fan, Hop." The announcer said as the crowd cheered for Hop.
"And for our other challenger also coming from Postwick and has been dominating the Gym Challenges since it began, give it up for Victor."
"And before the match a word from our sponsors." The announcer said as ads came for phone brands, Rotoms dex and restaurants came.
After the ads were done the battle had begun. Both Victor and Hop played there hearts out in the field. Pokémon after Pokémon came in and out and the crowd was cheering them both on. It was at this time that they each had only one Pokémon left as they both tossed it out to the field it was revealed that it was there starter Pokémon the ones that have been with them since the beginning.
"How ironic our first battle was with them and now our final battle is with them so let's make this final climax the best." Hop said as he prepared his Dynmax band.
"Right back at you Hop let's finish this." Victor said as he prepared his band.
Both of there Pokémon had become dynamaxed causing the crowd to cheer with everything they had. Both of them weren't backing out now. Victor's Rillaboom had the advantage over Hop's Inteleon and in the end Inteleon had been knocked out. After the dust settled everyone could see that Victor's Rillaboom was still standing.
"And that's the end folks and the winner of the Gym Challenge is Victor." The announcer said as the crowd roared with excitement for his victory. Gloria was proud of her brother, Sonia was excited to see them both play with their hearts out there, and Marnie was happy that her boyfriend had just won.
Victor and Hop approached each other and congratulated each other for this most epic battle.
"Congrats Victor you did it, you won." Hop said.
"Thanks Hop but congrats to you to for that amazing battle you were tough out there." Victor said as they both bro hugged each other.
It was at this time that Leon had stood up from his chair to see the two of them on the field.
"Everyone can I have your attention, I just wanted to say what a match we just see and I'm proud of Hop, my little brother, for an amazing match and Hop I am so proud of you for making it this far and battling with your heart." Leon said as he gave his bright a hug causing Hop to shed some tears.
"And for Victor since the beginning of your journey you have shown so much spirit in your battles and so much passion, which is why Victor you will have the honor in battling me for the champion title." Leon said as he raised Victor's hand in the air causing the crowd to cheer.
At this time Gloria, Marnie, Bede, and Sonia have made it on the field to congratulate the both of them. Marnie however went starving to Victor and gave him a big kiss which Victor kissed back.
"You did it, you won." Marnie said as the two broke apart from the kiss.
"Thanks and I'm so happy you are here to see this moment." Victor said as he hugged her passionately.
However, this moment would come to a halt when the Jumbotron started to glitch revealing Chairman Rose.
"Hello everyone, I am Chairman Rose and I have decided to bring about the Darkest Day. We need the energy to help us sustain ourselves as we continue in with the future and with the power of Eternaus I will achieve that."
Just than a rumbled could be felt at the stadium, but as well as the other gyms that had dynamax spots. The spots were generating power, but Pokémon near these spots began to dynamax and began to damage through the cities.
"Rose what have you done, the Pokémon are running rampage through the city." Leon said as the Jumbotron shut off.
And that's the end of Chapter 15 the long awaited chapter. I know I left you all on a cliffhanger but this was planned so when I post again you will all be excited for it. Since I've been gone for awhile here is a spoiler, if you okay pixelmon on blaze server than you know what a galaxy dratini is.
