Kelv's POV"Do you like Hojung, Kelv?" Mrs. Go said.
My eyes widened and I suddenly choked on my spit.
"Why on earth would she say such a thing?" I thought looking at Hojung for some details.
He just looked down and stared at the ground not even able to see his face.
"What makes you say that Mrs. Go?" As I dranked water Hojung handed me, clearing my throat.
"You looked like you're really close" She stated taking a seat infront of us alongside Mr. Go
"He's a good friend and I treat him like a brother Mrs. Go" I readjusted myself to look as if nothing had happened.
While the food was being passed to us, I kept on not looking or making eye contact to any of Hojung's parents and focused on the food infront of us.
"Hojung, I thought you were supposed to be at Lucas' place yesterday? What happened?" Mrs. Go said, gazing on us while she had a cup of OJ.
"I-uh" Hojung was about to say something when I cut him off saving his sorry ass.
"He kept me company Mrs. Go while I had something urgent come up and we had to leave the Wong's residence late at night" I said in a calm collective tone.
"I see, and how and so?" She prodded deeper.
"If you must know, my grandmother had just passed away" I said, not the truth but not a lie either.
"Oh" she said before she continued eating.
"My condolences to you, Kelvin" Mr. Go said finally speaking up.
He then scoffed.
Then Mrs. Go also gave her condolences.
I nodded to both of them after.
We had finished dinner and Hojung quickly pulled me out of the garden and into the house.
"If you'll excuse us" He said in a rush.
When we were out of earshot, I suddenly spoke taking my hand from Hojung.
"Care to explain yourself?" I looked dazed as to ahat had happened just now.
"You didn't have to lie about it though" he said calming down leading us to his room.
"Who said anything about a lie?" I said, smirking at him.
"Wait, what?" He sounded confused.
"My gramma did die recently, but that was a few months ago, so technically, it was a half-lie half truth situation" I said before we entered his ginormous room.
"This is my room" He said taking a spin.
"Woah" I awed, it looked just as big as the garden.
"Make yourself at home" He said sitting on the sofa set at the center.
I did and sat on the chair a few blocks away from him.
"Your room is huge" I said still in awe by it.
"That's not the only thing huge" He said before laughing his ass off.
I was a little taken aback by this and just laughed it off with him.
"It's very spacious and you have a lot of things to make yourself busy. Why tell me you get bored?" I said, thinking maybe it's a rich asian thing.
"Well, I don't have company, but now I do" he said moving a little closer from me, sitting on the other chair.
"Calm your dick, boy" I warned.
