Henry's POV

"He's been acting a little off since I asked him to dinner" I thought while opening the door to my apartment.

"Maybe I'm overthinking it" Brain interjected.

I should just prepare a space for us to talk and do some brain storming.

After a few minutes of re-arranging and cleaning, I had a bigger space for two where we could be comfortable.

I hope he doesn't mind sitting on the floor.

Let me just get a chair for him just in case.

I didn't bother buying hot food since there was pizza leftover and just ate that.

While grabbing the box, I decided to text Kelv to come over.

I gave him my address and to meet me when he finished dinner.

Henry

Kelv's POV

After getting home I just died on the bed for a good 10 minutes before removing all my uncomfortable bed like an exotic dancer would but less sexy.

"Ugh, Freedom" as I was just in boxers

I pulled my tank top near the bedstand where I left it earlier.

I looked at my phone and it read 6:30 P.M.

I guess I should buy food from the convenience store nearby.

It's run by an old chinese couple.

I know, cause I go there almost every day.

"Ni Hao Mrs. Liao. I'll have the regular, please"

"Oh Kelv, you' ve arrived. It's nice to see you too dear"

"Shao Tian, please prepare Kelv his dinner" Mrs. Liao called to her granddaughter who's my age.

"Yes grammy" Shao Tian called from the kitchen.

"How have you been dear?" Mrs. Liao said while taking a seat near me.

"I'm doing good, but there's this boy in my class who's my partner for this assignment at achool" I started, getting comfortable.

"Well, umh.. He kinda asked me out for dinner and after that start talking over the thing we're gonna work on" I said shyly putting my arms down sighing.

"What's the matter dear? Why didn't you go with him?" Mrs. Liao said.

"He's probably one of the rich kids Mrs. Liao and maybe he's gonna take us to eat somewhere fancy where I'd have to sell a kidney just to afford it" I said now plopping on the table.

"Well what did you say?" She replied.

"I lied and said there's gonna be a delivery of food to my apartment and there's a policy against visitors" I bit my lip as I told her.
