Henry's POV

Ring ring ring

As my alarm went off.

I reached for my phone as I unlocked it.

"No new messages" I said while looking and refreshing my We Chat and messages.

"Kelv said he'd update if he's done with quitting his job" I thought scrolling through my contacts.

"Wonder if Lucas knows" as I clicked call.

It rang a few times before he picked up.

"Yo, have you heard from Kelv last night?" I said immediately after he answered.

"Nah, he's not picking up" Lucas replied.

"Hey I'll update you later, dad's calling me" as he ended the call abruptly

"That's strange" I thought again, wondering what's going on.

I decided to get out of bed, freshen up and just went to Kelc's apartment.

I reached his door and knocked.

"Kelv?" I said repeatedly knocking.

"You in there?" As I tried to open his door.

"Where is he?" I said frustrated.

I went back downstairs to ask for Kelv's spare key and open his apartment.

As I opened the door, it was silent.

Too quiet for my taste.

I looked around and saw his phone.

I picked it up and opened it.

It still had all the unread messages I've sent last night.

I look to the side and saw the box for the gifts we gave him.

I opened them and there they were, just placed back.

"He probably left them because of some reason" I reassured myself.

I did some snooping and found up empty.

I decided to go back and get dressed before I do more investigating.

I closed the door but kept the key and left.

As I came back in my apartment I quickly bathed, ate the cold food from yesterday and packed some stuff.

I headed out and texted Lucas if he knew more about Kelv's whereabouts.

Heading back into Kelv's apartment, I decided to tidy it up since when he returns.

A few hours later, it was clean as a whistle.

Everything was spotless, the things were put away neatly and his belongings are on top of his nighstand.

I looked up at my phone and it read 10:12 A.M.

Kelv's still not back yet.
.
I'm getting worried.

As I about to call the police for a missing person's report, a knock was heard from the door.
