In an apartment a black haired girl sat on the couch with a blonde older woman.

Both paying close attention to the news on the TV.

Worried looks on their faces as they keep searching the images of a street with a burning billding for a certain blonde girl, when they hear the apartment's door open.

The two immediately released a breath they had been holding for minutes now.

The girl sinks into the couch in relif putting her head on its back, as the woman gets up.

"Rose. Are you alright? Are you hurt?" She asked, looking at her daughter for any sign of injury.

"Explosion is already on the news. FYI, I almost died running here, plus the mini heart attack. Mick has probably died of worry." The girl said sinking further in the couch and making silly angry gestures with her hand.

As the girl looks to Rose, to glare at her, she notices a plastic arm on Rose's hand and frowns slightly.

After a few minutes of Rose trying to recover from what had happened, she was sitting on the couch watching the news, while her mother was on the phone, and the girl in kitchen.

"I know. It's on the telly... It's everywhere. She's lucky to be alive...Honestly, it's aged her. Skin's like an ol' Bible...He's walking in now. You'd think I was her daughter..." She said to the person on the other end, while giving Rose a mug with tea.

A black man enters through the glass door of the living room, visibly worried.

"I've been phoning your mobile. You could have been dead. It's on the news and everything. I can't believe the shop your went up." He said hugging her.

"I'm all right, honestly, I'm fine. Don't make a fuss"

"Well. What happened?"

"I don't know."

"What was it thought? What caused it?"

"I wasn't in the shop. I was outside. I didn't see anything."

"It's Debbie on the end. She knows a man on The Mirror. Five hundred quid for an interview." She said, holding a hand on top of the speaker.

"Oh, that's brilliant. Give it here." Rose said grabbing the from her mother and hanging up.

"Well, you've got to find some way of making money. Your job kaput and I'm not bailing you out." She said as phone rings again and she quickly answers.

"Bev...She's alive...I've told her, sue for compensation. She was within seconds of death." She said returning to the kitchen, not even noticing the black haired girl was dying of laughter from their interactions.

"What're you drinking, tea? Nah, nah, that's no good. You're in shock. You need something stronger." He said taking the mug from her hand, and trying to make her stand up.

"I'm all right."

"He didn't even notice I was here. And I'm his cousin, for Hells sake...Also I'm returning to my apartment, because it's late and I'm dead tired. I have a morning off, so see you in the morning. Good night." She complained shaking her after him, then dramatically said while turning to Rose again, giving her a quick hug before heading for the front door.
