Adam's: POV

June 7th 2019: Sydney

"Daddy, we're home." called Melody. I went to the hall and my youngest daugther ran towards me. I picked her up and she smiled. "Was it fun at the beach today?" I asked. "Yes." she said.

Pearl and Oliver walked into the house. He ran his hand through his wet hair and laughed. I went up to him and gave my husband a kiss.

"How did it go?" I asked. "I won." said Oliver. "Congrats, I'm so happy for you." I replied. "Papa is the king of the waves." said Pearl. "Yes he is." replied Melody. "Thanks guys." said Oliver with a smile on his face. "I wish you were there to see it." said Pearl. "I think David was happy that I wasn't there." I replied. "My dad likes you, he's just a little overprotective since mom died." said Oliver.

No one, not even my family knows about my dark secret. I hear my victims screams at night. I've managed to keep it a secret for a long time.

"Something troubles you, what is it?" asked Oliver. "It's nothing." I said. "I love you." he replied. "I love you more." I said.

I passed the living room and Pearl was watching The Meg. It's her new favorite movie. She saw it three times at the cinema last year.

"I'd be terrified if I had met the megalodon." said Pearl. "Sharks are not the only predator in the ocean." I replied. She looked at me. "What could be more dangerous than a shark?" she asked. I looked out of the window and saw the ocean.

"The sea is more dangerous than you think, trust me." I said. She heard the sadness in my voice. "I miss Robin too." replied Pearl. "No one knows what happened to him that day, he just disappeared. The police found Victoria, but not Robin." I said.

They seems like a normal family, but with a dark secret
