I ran to the beach and jumped into the water. Quiet soon I discovered a huge cage and Pearl lay unconsciously next to it. She had a big wound on her forehead and she wasn't breathing. I picked her up my arms and swam up to the surface.

When merpeople stop breathing, they don't drown like normal people. They sleep and wake up when they can breathe air again. But Pearl was still sleeping and I got worried.
"I love you." I said and kissed her lips. She opened her eyes and looked at me. "My name is Pippi." I said. "I'm Pearl." she replied. "My sister is best friend with your aunt." I said and she smiled. "Thank you for saving me." replied Pearl. "No problem." I said. Then came Adam and his mom. She hugged them and her grandma couldn't stop crying. "I'm okay grandma." said Pearl. "I know." she replied and wiped away her tears.

We went back to school and I went up to Emily. "Our love is over." I said. "What?" she asked. "I can never forgive you for what you did." I said in a hurtful tone. "What are you talking about?" she asked confused. "Pearl could have died becuase of you." yelled Pippi. "Who are you?" she asked. "My name is Pippi and I'm Pearl's girlfriend." she said. I took her hand and we went out before they could do anything. I kissed her and she smiled.
