I stretched out my hand, but Adam wasn't lying next to me in bed. I put on my clothes and walked to the living room, but he wasn't there either. I happened to wake up Pearl. She was watching a movie. "What's wrong?" she asked sleepy. "Sorry I woke you up." I said. "I was on my way to my room anyway." she replied.
"Have you seen Adam?" I asked. "No." she said and I sighed. "Papa, the shark has been caught." said Pearl. "What?" I asked. "It's true." she said. "Finally it's safe to surf again." I replied. "Yeah." said Pearl.

I was at an aquarium next day with Melody.
"Papa." said Melody scared and hugged me. "What's it honey?" I asked worried. "A scary monster tried to pull me down in the water." she sobbed. "Monsters doesn't exist!" I said calmly. "He had long dark claws and scaly skin." she replied.
I saw Adam in a tank but it didn't look like him. His tail was white/blue and his hair had a toxic green color. He had gills on his neck and his eyes shone yellow. His skin was very monster-like. Pearl's words came up in my head. Papa, the shark has been caught. So Adam was the shark the whole time. Now he was trapped inside a tank.
"What has happened to you?" I asked. "He has fish fever." said Veridia suddlenly. "Excuse me?" I asked. "It grows a rainbow coral down in the ocean that's poisonous for fish and merpeople. They behave like predators and if they are not cured, they die." she said.
"I have to find the cure." I replied pan"It's not easy to find." she said. "But I can't let him die." I replied. "I've never seen a land boy care so much for a merman." said Veridia. "Then you don't know what love is." I replied.
I went up to the tank and put my hand on the glass. "I'll get you out of here, you'll be okay." I said. He hissed and his eyes glowed. "If you die, I will never be able to forgive myself." I said and a tear were rolling down my cheek.

Adam's POV
I swam around in the tank and glared at people. I put my hand on the glass and made unpleasant sounds with my sharp claws. They ran away of fear. I smirked evilly. I love being a evil merman and I love to scare people.
