Emily's: POV

I went to the ocean café next day and a group of people stood around Hannah . "It looks like a dolphin." said Jessie. "More like a shark." replied Cam. "Have you ever seen a blue shark?" asked Rebekah. "No." she said. "What can it be?" asked Carly. "We can ask Emily." said Hannah and everyone turned their glances at me. "Ask what?" I asked confused. "A friend photographed this last night." said Rebekah and showed me the photo. I froze when I saw Pearl's tail. "I've no idea what it is." I lied.

"Dad is going to be so happy if it's a rare animal." said Jessie. "It's not an animal." I replied without thinking. "Go on Em, tell us." said Hannah. "It's Pearl." I replied. "Really?" asked Isaac. "She's a... she's a mermaid!" I said.

"You're joking." replied Rebekah. "She gets a tail when she comes in contact with water." I said. "You swore to never tell." replied Pearl hurt. "I'm so sorry." I said. "Don't call me that." she replied and tears was rolling down his cheeks.

"Hey Pearl, how many sailors have you drowned?" asked Jessie with a laugh

"Hey Pearl, how many sailors have you drowned?" asked Jessie with a laugh. "Shut up." I said coldly. "We all know merpeople are dangerous and untrustworthy." replied Hannah. "I trusted you." said Pearl. "I didn't mean it, I swear." I replied. She ran out. I ran after her but she had disappeared into the water.

Pearl's: POV

"Have something happened, darling?" asked a woman softly. I turned around and saw grandma. "Grandma." said and hugged her. "I've missed you so much." replied Leila and hugged me back. It doesn't matter where she has been during all these years, the most important thing now is that we are together.

I feel so much for Pearl. I brought Leila back to life.

I hope you liked the chapter.
