It was dusk at Port Angeles, and Bella was once again dragged to a dress store by Alice. They were looking for a wedding dress and Bella, of course, was reluctant. They had probably gone through 20 dresses.

"I think this is the one." Bella said walking out of the changing room. (I'm pretty sure we all know what her wedding dress looks like.)

Alice smiled and said "It suits you."

Bella changed out of the dress and Alice went to pay for it. Bella turned to look out the window. It was probably just her imagination, but she thought she saw someone on the roof of the building across from the store.

"I'm gonna take a quick walk. I'll see you at the car." she told Alice.

"Okay, be careful." and she walked out of the store and started walking where she thought she saw the person on the roof go.

Layla was in her suit jumping from rooftop to rooftop. The dark colors helped her blend in with her surroundings. Zima was inches in front of her sniffing around trying to pick up a scent. So far, Layla has stopped a mugging and a few assaults. She and Logan decided to split up to cover more ground. She was on coms with him.

"Find anything?" she asked

"Nothing important." was his response. They were looking for a lead on the gang they were looking for.

Zima suddenly perked up and started running and Layla ran after her.

"Zima's found something, I'll send you the coordinates." and she made sure not to lose the wolf.

They met up with Logan and they ran across rooftops until they were right above an alleyway. There were some hispanic men meeting there, and Logan and Layla shared a look, realizing that these were some members of the gang they were looking for.

They heard some parts of their conversation so they inched forward to hear more.

"I don't like this." one of the men said. "What if the Night Hunters show up."

The rest of the men laughed. "They were in Arizona last we heard. There's no way they'd be up here."

"And besides," another man added. "There are thousands of gangs. What are the chances they'd come after ours?"

That was when Layla and Logan decided to make there appearance. They flipped down and landed soundlessly behind the men.

"Where is your leader?" Logan asked in a forceful tone and the group of men whipped around.

"It's them!" one of them exclaimed fearfully.

"Shoot them!" and with that, the Night Hunters got to work.

Bella walked around Port Angeles, a little cautious because of what happened last time she went alone. She was so sure she saw someone jumping rooftops, she just had to be sure.

She eventually heard the sound of guns firing and grunting and men groaning and shouting. Being her curious self, she went to go check it out, and she was shocked by what she saw.

Two people, a man and a woman, clad in black were beating up a gang of men. There was even a wolf there. She was just standing there while watching this happen.

Layla roundhouse kicked a man in the head and brought his face on her knee. Sensing someone behind her, she let out a whistle and Zima brought him down by by biting his leg. She turned and punched him in the face for good measure.

She checked on Logan, and he judo flipped the last man to the ground. They both looked at each other panting. They still needed information, so Logan picked up the man that looked afraid from the start, and pinned him to the brick wall of the alley.

"We need a word with your boss. Where is he?" he asked in a threatening tone.

The man whimpered and said "I don't know! I swear!" Layla raised her wrist with her gauntlet ready to fire. "Wrong answer." she said and Zima let out a growl.

"Okay! He's at his office, just downtown. You can't miss the building! Just please let me go!" Logan let go of him and he ran out of the alley. Little did he know, Layla snuck a tracking device on him.

They were about to leave the scene when they heard someone gasp behind them. Layla turned with her gauntlet raised, but froze at what, or who, she saw.

She recognized those brown eyes and facial features.

The girl across from her looked just as shocked. She didn't want to believe it, but she knew that red hair and those green eyes anywhere. She was looking at the girl who she thought was gone forever.

"Layla?"

"Bella?"
