Layla walked out onto the roof of the apartment that she, Logan, and Jackson were currently staying in. Jackson had some work to do in Tokyo, and he knew that Logan and Layla could find some thugs here. She walked over to the ledge wearing this outfit.

She managed to make this suit in Russia. She had weapons hidden wherever she could. The bracelets also had little tasers in them.
As she walked across the roof, she was followed by a big white and grey wolf. (Image above). She went up to Layla's hips in height. She and Logan found the wolf in Russia while they were exploring. She was just a pup, and they found the mother dead right next to her. Both of them had sympathy for the young wolf, and took her home with them. Jackson was skeptical of course, but eventually warmed up to the wolf. Layla and Logan both named her Zima, which means winter in Russian. Ever since they found her, she hasn't left their side. It was a little difficult to bring her to different countries with them, but the CIA provided Jackson with a private jet, so they managed. They noted that she was bigger than a normal wolf, but they thought it was nothing.
If only they knew that Zima wasn't a normal wolf.
Layla and Zima just stood at the edge of the roof, taking in the view of Tokyo at night. She sensed a presence behind her and turned to see Logan, who was wearing an outfit similar to hers.

"Are you ready?" Logan asks her. She nods her head. "Let's show them what we can do." she says with a smirk. He smirks back and looks at the view with her. Layla than steps back, runs to the edge, and jumps across the gap. Her booted feet touch the edge of the other building and she rolls across he roof before continuing on. She can hear Logan following her and Zima not far behind. Another thing about Zima is that she can leap from building to building with ease, and she is a little faster than normal wolves. Logan and Layla ran with her all the time in forests and mountains, so they matched her speed perfectly.
The three of them ran across buildings and jumped gaps. Layla and Logan had to use grappling hooks a few times, but they still made the jumps, along with Zima. They stopped on one building, because Jackson informed them that some members of the Yakuza would be here tonight.
They looked at each other and nodded. Logan went one way and Layla went the other. Zima followed after Layla. They found an open window and crept in. They went down the stairs and found themselves almost down to the floor where the Yakuza were supposed to meet. Layla jumped over the railing and swung herself up on a support beam. Zima joined her up there. Layla looked over and saw Logan crawl through a window and stand behind the railing of the catwalk. They nodded at each other and looked down just in time to see four men and one women walk into the room.
They waited for a minute while the group looked around and talked for a bit. Finally, Layla flipped down from the support beam, landing gracefully.

The man she landed behind turned around, startled. But he looked even more scared when Zima landed behind Layla. Shortly after, Logan jumped in and landed behind another one of the men. Both groups just stood there staring at each other, then the japanese group charged.
One of the men went to punch Layla, but she ducked under his fist and landed a punch to his groin. The woman charged at Logan with a knife, but he grabbed her hand and twisted it behind her while she cried out in pain. He shoved her against the wall and blocked a punch. One of the men went to attack Layla, but Zima jumped in and jumped on him and bit his arm. The man cried out in pain and Zima clawed him so he couldn't move. Layla ran up to the last man in the group and took him down easily.

The three of them heard the sound of police sirens. Jackson called the police beforehand and informed them on the Yakuza. Layla looked at Logan, and she saw him staring back at her. "We did good." he said. She smiled. "Yeah we did." Zima went up to Logan. He bent down and pet her. "Khoroshaya devochka." he said. Zima only took commands in Russian. Logan and Layla were in Russia when they found her and they were practicing the language at the time, so they gave her commands in Russian.
They did one last look at the scene, and with that they were out of sight by the time the police arrived.
This was the start of their journey. It was Layla, Logan, and Zima against the criminals of the world. They were going to make sure nobody goes through the pain that they went through.
