"playing smart with me, are you ?" He said looking in my eyes scaring me to death. He was so tall that he could snap me in half in a second.
"Damian I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" "shhhh!" He cuts me off by placing a finger over lips.
"...
Sophy made the world's best pasta and the bowl was empty in no time. Talking to her didn't seem too bad. She was quite jolly and friendly.
"Sophy where did you live before you worked here?" I asked her.
"I live here from the start. I used to work here before Mr. Blackwood married Damien's mother. She was the most beautiful lady. He loved her a lot before she..." she paused.
"Oh, I'm sorry." I said. "No, No she is alive I hope so... but no one knows where she is." She said and left me shocked.
"What do you mean? I don't understand. If she is alive why is she not here?" I asked.
Sophy sighed and began "I worked for Mr. Blackwood's first wife Helena. Her death was a big loss for Mr. Blackwood and their son Daxon who was almost 4 years old at that time." She explained.
"Damian has a brother?" I asked shocked.
"Yes, but they don't get along to well now. One and a half year after his wife's death he brought Damian's mother Sarah home one night. She was bleeding and badly injured. He said that he was driving and she suddenly appeared infront of his car." Sophy said lost in thoughts.
"She stayed blacked out for two whole days. He was worried sick that he might have killed her. Taking care of her made him started to like her. He became obsessed with her presence as if life slowly started to come back in his dark word. Daxon also started getting attached to her. Soon after that they fall in love and got married and she told her everything that who she was running from that night. The person turned out to be one of Mr. Blackwood's rivals." She explained.
"A year after their marriage they had the cutest baby boy Damian who had his mothers eyes. They were having a party in the house at his birth when the whole happiness turned into terror. His rivals got a raid on the house and the whole family had to get out of here. This war carried on for three years before Sarah left a note on Mr. Blackwood's table and ran away. He was broken again. He had two sons to raise no his own. He was okay before the day Daxon turned 21 and decided to move to London." She said and sighed.
"Daxon and Damian had and argument about him moving out cuz he didn't wanted his dear big brother to leave but what could he possibly have done, he was only 14 at that time. After that Mr. Blackwood started to fall really sick and Damian isolated himself inside him. The only person he would hang out with was Mason cuz he was his best friend. This whole raid thing just tore a happy family apart." Sophy said as a tear escaped her eyes. She took a deep breath and straitened herself.
"Okay, I really talk a lot." She said with a small laugh and I smiled lightly. "What do you say I give you a tour of the house?" she said with a smile.
"Sure, why not." I said. Well a tour of the place would be a good thing after all I don't know how long I have to stay here.
We went through the whole house and damn this place is so HUGE.....
