Chapter 7

Lisa's POV

It's been almost 2 hours and I'm still locked in the room. I'm sitting on the couch next to the window as I see the sky turning gray and black. The sunlight that is swollen by the thickness of clouds in the sky.

My life feels the same way, whenever I see a ray of light it is swollen by a thick dark and dangerous cloud named Damian.

Why does he have to be so cold all the time. Well that's maybe how he is. But there must be a reason to why he is this way. Focus Lisa .... But on what?

On planing my escape.... Huh! That's not possible. Why? Two reasons. First, the windows were not locked but even if I try to escape through the window I might end up breaking my arm or my leg cuz this room is so High. Second, let's say that if I'm somehow able to the bottom this whole place is full of bodygaurds so there is zero percent chance that I make it out alive.

I was pulled back to the present when heard the door lock clicking. Panic flooded through me and my whole being shook in fear. He is back.

I let out a breath once I noticed that it was Sophy who walked in with a maid following her, holding a zipper in her hand She Placed it on the bed and picked the breakfast tray and left the room. Now it was only me and Sophy in the room.

She sat next to me and squeezed my hand. "You have to get ready. Master would be here in an hour." She said leading me to the bathroom.

"Wait, ready for what?" I asked. " I'm not sure but I think that master is taking you out to see someone." She replied. Who would he want me to meet?

I ignored the questions in my head and walked in the bathroom. After a 20 minutes shower I rinsed my hair one last time and wrapped a towel around my body and walked out.

Sophy was still in the room. She smiled at me as I walked out. "Sit l, I'll help you with the makeup." She said. " No, it's okay... I'll do it my self. Thank you Sophy." I said and she nodded.

"I'll set your dress out for you then." She said and walked back. I turned around to see her opening the zippers bag and pulling out a beautiful knee length dress.

It was so cute and simple, yet so beautiful. "This would look really good on you." She said and smiled.

It was almost 2:51 pm. I had did light makeup just a little gloss and mascara on my eyes. Sophy told me I looked breath taking and I blushed at her compliment. We both giggled a bit when I heard the door open.

My heart beat became faster when I saw Damian standing at the door. He looked so handsome in the navy blue suit he wore.

His eyes meet mine before they took in my appearance. Sophy walked out of the room shutting the door. I stood frozen on my spot. My breath started getting faster when he started walking towards me.

He came close to me and pulled me close to him as I gasped. His face so close to mine and I can smell his cologne and his minty breath.

"Let's go." He said and grabbed my wrist and lead my outside the room. Once we were out he guided me to the car as one of his guards holds the door open for us.

Once we get in the car a man opens the front door and gets in as I immediately recognize him. I satre at him as I realized that I still don't know his name.

He notices me staring at him and smirks at me. " I'm really sorry I didn't get to introduce myself. I'm Mason, your husband's best friend and his second in command." He says holding his out for me to shake.

" I'm Lisa, that you already know." I said shaking his hand as he smirked in return. It went silent for a while. We were driving to God knows where when I felt someone staring my way. I turned my head and saw Damian looking at me from head to toe.

He seem to notice that I caught him looking at me so he turned his face away. I blusheD so hard as I try to hide my face in my hair.

The car ride was silent. It was about 10 minutes from his place when we arrived at a hospital. I was so confused that why did he brought me to the hospital. Who would it be at the hospital he'd want me to meet!?

The car came to a stop outside the hospital and we got out. We walked in followed by guards as he leads the way to the lift.

Mason, Damian and I got in the elevator and he pushed the button of 12th floor. The elevator dinged and the doors opened only to reveal a corridor full of bodygaurds. All dressed in black.

A man in wHite coat who I assume is the doctor greater us. He and Damian walked at the further end of the corridor.

"Go on, you can ask me what ever is in your mind." Mason said standing next to me.

" Why did he bring me hear?" I asked. " He brought you here to see his father."Mason replied

" His father, you mean Jake Blackwood.!?" I asked shocked. Mason nodded on response. "Wait a minute, didn't Jake Blackwood moved to California after his son took over the business? " I asked.

" That's actually what the media knows. We can't let them know that he is sick or in a hospital." Mason said.

"But what happened to him, why is he in a hospital?" I asked. "Well,I'm sorry but I guess that's for Damian to explain not me." He replied as Damian walked back with the doctor.

" Come on. " He said and grabbed my hand. " You stay right here, we'll be back." He said to Mason and started leading me to a door.

He pushed open the door and walked in. The hospital room was masive with a full sided window at the wall against the door. A bed was kept at the corner and the room was nicely decorated as if it was someone's private place.

There was an old man sitting at the sofa next to the giant glasswindow. Damian let go of my hand and walked close to the man.

"Father" Damian said and the his father turned around. His face lightning up with a bright smile as he saw his son.

"Damian, my boy. How have you been?" He asked as he shifted to him. " Great. Father, I'd Like you to meet someone." Damian said and shifted his eyes towards me. He held his hand out for me as he mentioned me to come close.

I walked close to him and he snakes his hand around my waist pulling me next to him.

"Father, this is Lisa. Lisa BlackWood... My wife." He said and the same sparks ignited inside my heart and my whole body.

His father's face turned even brighter as he looked at me. " My my... what a beautiful lady you have here. Wow Damian, I'm soo happy for you my son. And you miss Lisa... Are absolutely stunning." He said as he pulled us both in a hug.

" I'm so proud that you finally found someone to hold hands with, Damian." He said, the bright smile not leaving his face.

Damian smiled and held his father's hand. " I'll do anything to see you smiling like that father." He said.

"His father gave him a sad smile and looked at me. " Have you introduced her to everyone? " He asked excited. " No, father" Damian replied.

" Well the we'll through a huge party to introduce the new member of the Blackwood family." His father said excited like a 10 year old. Wait a sec...

" Yes father, we sure will." Damian said. Wait what ....!!
