Chapter 37

Lisa's POV

One year ago, if someone had told me this would be my life i would have laughed and thought that they were probably crazy but its not the case.

Looking back a year ago I lived my best friends in a small but warm and cozy apartment. Had a really good job and enjoyed every part of this with them.

All it took was One night, Just one night and my whole life turned upside down. I got kidnaped, married forcefully. Almost died twice, found out my whole life was a lie and I had four big mafia brothers who had been looking for me for so many years. But this all lead me to the best part of my life.

The part where I fell in love with my kidnapper, My husband Damian Blackwood who happen to be an under cover fighter, Well he was until he got exposed. then I got adducted again and he though it was because of him. It was never cuz of him. I was always read to anything for him but he cant stand the thought of me being hurt cuz of him anymore.

He had to go away from me cuz of the war that broke out against him. If only I would have not let Stephen get what he asked for that day and have not gone to see him this would not have happened.

I regret all of this. I regret hiding his threat from Damian. I regret not telling him the truth about what he said to me that day. But I cant undo what happened and It was all my fault.

Its been six months since I found I was pregnant with Damian's baby. Six long months since we got separated. Six long months without him.

It is killing me not to see his face, to hear his voice, knowing that I cant hug him, I cant kiss him.

All I want to do is run back to him and nothing else, but how.....?

I wiped my tear and walked inside my room closing the door of the balcony. The stars in the sky where somewhat my escape from all of this. I always found it calming to be underneath the stars.

There was a knock on the door and I answered it only to see Kara in pj's with a pillow in her hand. She gave me a smile as I opened the door.

"Hey! I knew you'd still be up." She smile "Yeah, Cant sleep. " I replied and moved back allowing her to enter the room.

"How is the little one doing." She asked bending down at my now grown stomach. "All good." I chuckled and sat down.

"You know what, I just love to see you like this. Fat and cute." Kara grinned. "Yea, I know. You've told me like a hundred times before." I laughed.

"Maybe you should lay down." Kara said and helped me lay down as she walked to the other side and lied down next to me.

"So..." I started. "So what?" She asked. "You know, about Matt?" I asked. Matt is the guy that worked for my brothers. He came at the house a few days back due to some important work with my brothers.

They introduced him to us that he has been working for them as their manager for a long time and we all saw the way he looked at Kara. Jenna and I forced her to go on a date with him after he asked her out. The guy is into her.

She sighed. "I.. I don't think we could be a thing Lisa." she said and her face fell. "Why. Is he not-" "No, no he is a great guy. But he deserves someone better then me Lisa." She says cutting me off and I know why she feels that way.

I placed my hand on hers and she looked up at me, her eyes filling with tears. "Kara, I know you like him, but he broke up with you. And he was right at his end. He can't put you in danger." I said.

"I love him Lisa, Its been six months and I cant get over him. Every passing day makes me want him even more. I want to be with him, for now and for the rest of my life." She said as tears fell from her eyes like waterfall. I pulled her into a hug.

"I know how you feel Kara. I know, I can feel the same way too." I said as we hugged each other.

Damian's POV

I walked down after changing the bloody clothes i have been wearing as I saw Mason and Daniel sitting in the living room drinking beer and laughing. It was our way of celebrating. I was beyond happy. I would get to have my life back once again. I'll hold her in my arms and love her more then I already did.

We won the war that we had been fighting for the last six months. We killed literally each and everyone of them who were a threat to my happiness.

"You two are gonna kill yourself with all the alcohol you are taking." I smacked their heads. They laughed and I joined them.

Flashback---------

The place was on fire and the only thing I could see was smoke. I moved forward advancing towards the target.

"Damian." I heard Leonardo call. Looking behind I saw him as he was running to me with a rocket launcher in his hands.

"take this. They went to the roof. The helicopter is going to take them away. Go hurry." He said and I got up running through a rain of gunshots.

Kicking the door open I found a staircase that led to the roof of the building. Running up the stairs as fast as I could i caught both Stephen and Kayden in time before they got into the helicopter.

"Not so fast." I said as I walked to them. They rushed to the helicopter as they saw me but before they could leave I shot the pilot in the head.

"NOOO!" Stephen shouted and they bot stopped dead in there tracks. "You are not going to escape this all so easily." I gritted my teeth.

"Oh really." Stephen smiled as him and Kayden walked towards me. "We are two and you are all alone. What will you do with all your friends are busy fighting my men down there." He smirked.

"I alone am more then enough for you both." I smirked and dropped my gun. "Ending it like a man I see." Kayden laughed.

I am so down to kick their asses with my bare hands. I smirked. "come on, lets end in forever."

They both launched at me at once. I blocked and dodged their punches and kicks and hit them a few times.

My fist collided with Kayden's face and he went flying. I kicked Stephen But he caught my leg. but before he could do anything I swung my let and hit him breaking a few bones of his ribcage.

He went to the ground flying but Kayden came at me. I dodged his punch and punched him in the guts. He landed on the floor holding his side and I hovered over him Punching him like he was a punching bag.

"This is for my wife."

Punch

"This is for kidnapping her."

Punch

"This is for touching her."

Punch

"This is for EVEN LOOKING AT HER."

With a last punch I heard the sound of his neck breaking and his face that I had beaten into a bloody pulp went in the other direction.

The voice of Helicopter engine tore me away from him. I looked up to see Stephen in the pilots seat and was smirking at me. I ran towards the Helicopter but it was out of my range.

He had managed to get it high enough. He smirked and me and waved me goodbye. I gave him and evil smile before turning to the rocket launcher Leonardo handed me.

Sitting on my knee I held the launcher at my shoulder and targeted the helicopter. A smirk made its way to my face. "Goodbye, motherfucker." I said and fired.

I smirked and downed a glass of red wine. We are leaving for Chicago in morning. Now all I have to do once we are in Chicago is to call Lisa. And get her back. My love, My life....

"I'm coming for you my angel."
