I grunt in pain holding my stomach. I looked up at the boys. Chris had vanished.  Wardell , Stephen , and Melvin continued kicking me on my sides. Travis didn't do anything he just watched. He looked like he wanted to say something but he didn't. The tardy bell rung. They all fleeted off to second period. Leaving me on the floor not able to move at all.

I awakened at a bright florescent lights were shining over my face. I eyes began to flutter open. Adjusting to the light. Then shutting them quickly. "Are you okay?" A masculine voice asked. "Yeah. Anthony, Why does your voice sound like that?" I asked. "Who's Anthony?" Anthony asked. "Very funny. " I say sarcastically. I finally opened my eyes. It wasn't Anthony at all. It was Chris. I released a sigh. Im grateful he brought me. That was the only credit I was giving him. The nurse walked back into her station. "Doing better?" Nurse Jamison asked. "I guess." I lied. "That's good. You've been out for 15 minutes. " She tells me. Honestly wanting it to be 9th period. She began writing up a pass to 2nd period.

I continue my path to Social Studies. Chris runs up to me apologizing. "Sorry for what my friends did to you -" "Do you not get it! I hate you and your stupid squad! You do this every day! I don't want your pity!" I snapped cutting Chris off.  I stormed off to 2nd period handing my pass to Mrs. Moore. I took a seat next to Anthony while she rambled on about the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Her teachings where probably witnessed. I wish she'd gone and retire already. She'd be doing this school a favor. A ripped piece of paper flew across on my desk. I opened it. It read:

Why weren't you here when class started?  Anthony's note asked.

I responded:

You know who” attacked me again.

I wrote not really wanting to go into full depth of what happened during these events.

Eventually the day passed but I paid little attention to any of my teachers. I was now focused on what'll happen when I get home. I know for sure my parents aren't letting me off the hook for getting a detention. I remember when I got my first C one point away from a B. I was grounded for 2 weeks. Far by this had been the worst day yet. It didn't get better once I got home either.  At dinner I continued to get grilled by my parents. I got my phone taken away with my TV and computer privileges also. I sighed. Why are they so quick to punish? They never hear the other side of the story. I went to my miserable gloomy room and went to bed.
