Time quickly passed just enjoying the music as we got ready to go to school. My day was off to a good start. No problems yet. That's of course I hadn't went to school yet.

"You ready to go?" Chris asked me.
"Yeah." I sighed reluctantly.

I didn't want to go to school. I wanted to stay here with Chris all day.

"Why you say it like that?" He asked.
"I don't feel like going to school." I say truthfully.

"I know how you feel... I have too trying to get this basketball scholarship. You have to work hard and do things you don't want to do to succeed." He says. "Come here"

I walk towards him as he placed a kiss on my cheek and held me tightly. I wonder what that was about? I didn't mind it though, not one bit. He separated himself from me and opened the door.I walked out with him to the car. Then minutes later I arrived to the north campus entrance. I never went this way.

"Why'd you go to the north entrance?" I asked.
"It's closer to your locker and mines. Plus Wardell and all of them go in West side." He explained to me.
"How am I getting home? Don't you have practice today?" I asked.
"Don't worry about that." He says tossing his car keys to me.
"How are you going to get home?" I asked.
"What's with all these questions?" He asked.
"Sorry. " I reply.
"It's cool. I'm just have having Travis drive me." Chris explained.

Travis was just like Chris as far as I'm concerned. But me and Travis never actually held a conversation it would be just me, him, and Chris in a room forcing us to talk to each other.

The shortened classes flew by quickly, and was already lunch time. Anthony and I say at our usual table and continued our conversation.

"My family that's in town are heading back to Georgia tonight. So you could stay if you wanted." He informs me. "Im already staying with someone." I tell him.

I couldn't tell him who or he'll freak out and annoy the hell out of me in the process. "Who?!" He asks.

This is exactly what in taking about. Being extra. Why?! "Chr-..." I admit..
"Chris! You're-..." I covered his mouth.
"You're staying with Chris!?" He whispered.
"Yeah. Why are you making a big deal over nothing?" I say biting a chunk out of my sandwich.
"Because you don't know him. He could be setting you up." He warned.

"Know him?" I laughed. "I grew up with him. I know him well enough. Our families are friends too."

"Im just warning you." He says.
"I appreciate it. But I'm good." I say.

The rest of the day went smoothly. For some reason I started to miss Chris and wanted him right by my side. I don't know when basketball practice ends, but I would check the time frequently. Only to be disappointed. It's no later than the last time I checked. The anxiety was killing me. I tried to pass time by reading a book the teacher assigned. But that book was too damn boring. I didn't make it past the first page. Can't they let us pick a book of choice. This the one day I wish I had tons of homework. I cleaned the apartment which wasn't even dirty to begin with. I even made dinner. There was nothing left to do but be bored. I heard the many cars pass, none of them were Chris.

Minutes grew into long hours that feel like years. Time seemed to stand still just for me. I tried to listen to music but it got old really quick. For me I can't listen to music for a long time. Maybe because I prefer longer tracks or my music boring as hell. I checked the time and heard keys jingling in the hallway close to the apartment. I wrongly assumed it was Chris. It was just the neighbors. Finally the second time it was Chris at the door. I ran to him and hugged him. "Bye.I love you." He says into the phone sighing. I released the hug quickly.
"Who was that?" I asked curiously.
"Ugh.. Nobody. You know I missed you right?"

A couple of red flags went off in my head. Im not going to jump to conclusions though.

"I missed you too."

"Oh really." He says picking me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist as carried me to the bedroom. Placing his phone on the night stand and placed kisses down my neck. Sucking and nibbles occasionally. Chris pulled off his shirt when his phone began to ring. "Just ignore it." He told me as he silenced the device. Chris continued for a few minutes. Until his phone vibrated causing it to slide off of the edge and fall. I picked it up for him , Rachel ? Who's Rachel? I thought.

"Who's calling babe?" He asked.

"Rachel." I said. He coughed nervously. He began playing with his fingers. "Who?" He asked again.

"Rachel." I said answering the call placing it on speaker. I handed him the phone. "I'm not here!" He mouthed.

"What was that Chris?" I said loud.

"Hey! Baby!!" The girl said excitedly.
"Hey." Chris replies nervously.
"Who was that in the background?" She asked.
"Nobody... So what you doing?"
"Waiting on you to come over and get me right tonight daddy." She says.

I began dialing Anthony's number.
