Barbie's POV

I took a deep breath as I opened the door.
I smiled as I felt the familiar feeling of being back home.

"Barbie?" mom called, "Oh my goodness! You're home."

Mom pulled me in a hug.
"Hi....I missed you, mom," I said.

"Come in. You must be exhausted," dad said.

I nodded as I came inside.
As soon as I stepped inside the house my sisters ran towards me.

"Oh my God, Barbie! You're back!" Chelsea exclaimed jumping up and down.

I chuckled as Skipper and Stacie rushed towards me as well.

"Barbie, come on, let's go and play basketball," Stacie said as she grabbed my hand.

"No, she is going to help me with the new beat for my DJ songs," Skipper said as she grabbed my other hand and both began to drag me.

"Girls! Give her a break," dad chuckled, "I bet dad had already worn her out already."

I nodded. "You have no idea, dad."
Both of them let go of me.

"Oops, sorry," Skipper and Stacie said in union.

I headed upstairs to my room.

I sighed as I laid down on my bed.

As soon as I was about to go to sleep I heard a sound of bark.

I smiled as I saw my puppy, Taffy.

"Hey, Taffy," I said as I looked down, "I missed you so much."

Speaking of missing people.....
I grabbed my phone and called Ken.

"Hey Barbie! What's up?" Ken said over the phone.

I smiled. "Not bad.....I was thinking if we could spend some time after school tomorrow," I suggested.

Ken seemed pretty hesitate.
"About that........I don't think we can.....this Jasmine girl is still stalking me and I don't want to get you in the middle of this mess."

I chocked on air. Was Jasmine still the same?

I could swear Patricia was going to kill her.
I chuckled as I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, see you tomorrow," I said quiet a bit disappointed.

I laid down on my bed.
I decided maybe it was for the best if I could study.

I was going to have tests after Christmas holidays which was coming up in a couple of days.

I grabbed my history textbook and started studying.
After a couple of hours I was surely hungry.
I put my textbook in my bookshelf and decided to go to kitchen to grab a bite.

"Girls! Dinner is ready," mom called.

Forget about snacks! I want food!
I quickly ran downstairs.

I quickly grabbed the plates and started setting the table.
After everything was ready mom joined us at the table.

And with that we started eating.

"Skipper, how was school?" I asked.
She shrugged. "As usual.....I just can't stand the bratty kid!"

Mom narrowed her eyes.
"Skipper, what did I tell you about this?" mom asked as Skipper groaned.

"Maybe it's because Jasmine is an attention seeker?" Skipper said as she rolled her eyes.

I chuckled. Why did I keep on hearing about the liar 24/7?
I shrugged. It really didn't matter.

"Barbie, you're going to school tomorrow, right?" dad asked hesitantly.

"Yeah....why?" I said. I had a gut feeling that something was going on.
"Nothing, dear.....we just wanted to tell you that you're going with your cousin, Cassandra, to school tomorrow," mom replied.

Now that was strange. I always went to school by myself....and recently with Skipper because now she was going to the same school with me.

I decided to drop the subject because clearly mom and dad didn't really want to talk about the reason now.

I nodded in understanding as I finished my meal.
I decided to help with the dishes.

Right as my sisters went to their rooms I decided it was time I asked them why they were acting like that.

"Barbie...honey, I can do the dishes. George, now that is night can you put the house on lockdown?" mom said.

Wait wait! Lockdown? But why?
Something was going on.

"Mom....what's wrong?" I asked, "You're kinda tense."
She sighed.

"Well....I guess we should tell you what happened while you weren't home," dad replied.

My stomach dropped. Did something happen while I was gone? Was someone hurt?

"Today morning me and your mom knew you'd be home so we decided to prepare a little bit," dad began, "While she was in your room organizing some of your stuff she found something."

Mom sighed as she handed me a piece of paper.
It was a note.

Stay out of my business, Barbie. Or else you don't want to know what will happen.

I gasped in shock.
I sat down on the couch as I sighed.

I knew perfectly well who could this be. There was only one person who would do this.

Even though I was scared by the threat I knew that I needed to do something about this.

"There's only one person who thinks this is a funny joke," I tried to say calmly, "But I can handle this. You don't need to be worried."

Dad chuckled.
"I know, sweetheart. But we still need to be careful. You know what that man is capable of doing," he said, "I'm just saying that we need to take precautions. Not like your mom who was thinking of homeschooling you."

Mom glared at dad and he rolled his eyes.
Wait! Homeschool? Over a threat?

"Mom! Seriously....I can take care of myself," I chuckled, "I don't need a babysitter. Jeez do you really think I'm a troublemaker?"

"Well......," dad began, "Kinda...remember the time when we told you and Ken not to cause troubles?"

I groaned.

Seriously, dad? I need you to back me up on this one!

I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever! I'm going to continue studying!"

I ran upstairs in my room and closed the door as I sighed.
I collapsed on my bed as I glanced at the note once again.

Panic rushed through me. This was bad. It only meant that I was in trouble big time.

A/N: I mean it's not a lie that Barbie is in trouble....but there's much much more on her plate!
