Five years ago Pt 4

Ken stared at his girl of his dreams in disbelief.
"I think that mysterious woman told us to stay put," Ken drawled.

Barbie smirked.
"Come on....you don't think I would be convinced that easily, do you?" Barbie quirked an eyebrow, "It's my parents we're talking about. I'm going to make sure they're okay. And besides...that woman isn't my boss or something."

Then Barbie restricted her attention back to her younger siblings.
"You guys stay here....I'll be back soon!"

Ken grasped her hand and stopped her from leaving.

"Fine then....I am coming with you," Ken declared.
Barbie gasped in surprise. But she knew she couldn't risk Ken.

"You know....I know....that out of two of us....only I can ride a motorboat....and that's the quickest way to get to your parents," Ken smirked and crossed his arms.

Barbie grunted, knowing he was right.

The duo of Agent Roberts and Agent Carson ran towards their motorboat, settled in and Ken started going full speed.

Barbie couldn't help but be worried for her parents.
‘I hope they'd be okay.’

After about twenty minutes they reached the said location on the GPS.
Barbie looked around carefully.

There was nothing there... except for trees and a small house.
‘It must be some sort of a second hideout....where they probably get rid of those who snoop around.’

She shuddered at the thought that her parents could be hurt...or even worse.

Right then the door opened and some guys came out.

"What a shame that my most loyal employees were betraying me!"

Barbie covered her mouth to prevent herself from gasping out loud.

"You had left me no choice but to kill you both right here right now. And don't worry.....your little ones will join you soon," Mr. Fleming laughed evilly.

"Don't you dare touch them!" Margaret growled, struggling against their grips.

The man cackled and pointed his gun at George.
Barbie was about to get up and stop them somehow.....but she was stopped by some loud noises.

"Sir! We're being ambushed!"

Bruce growled angrily at the turn of events.

"This cannot be! Attack the intruders! NOW!"

And with that the two teens watched as the battle unfolded in front of their eyes.
It was as if they were watching some action movies scenes in movie theater.

Barbie made a quick note to herself to thank that mysterious woman for saving her parents.

The two teens watched in awe.
Just then a man was about to attack Margaret from behind....but he never got the chance because he was tripped and then thrown against the ground.

"Wow....your parents can fight? Cool!" Ken whispered to Barbie.

In less than an hour....most of the bad guys were handcuffed and detained.

"Good job, darling!" George smiled at his wife.

Margaret smirked.
"You did amazing, too!"

Right then Bruce Fleming stood in front of them with his gun pointed at them.

"You ruined everything I planned for," he growled and aimed his gun at Margaret, "For that you will pay!"

Barbie gasped, fearfully.
‘Oh no! Mom! Dad!’ Barbie panicked.
She had to do something. She couldn't let them get killed....

She loved them....even if they were strict with her sometimes. She knew they did everything out of love.

She quickly grabbed her baseball bat.

Ken grasped her hand, fearing that she would get hurt if she did....whatever she was planning.

"Barbie....are you sure?" Ken whispered.
Barbie nodded...she had a plan...it was risky. But she was willing to do it..

She got off the boat and snuck up behind the man.

She swung her baseball bat, ready to hit the target.
‘Here goes nothing!’

Margaret took a step back.
Bruce clicked off the safety....but before he could shoot..... Barbie hit him as hard as she could.

Bruce fell on the ground.... unconscious.

Margaret and George gasped at the sight of their daughter....with a baseball bat in her hand.

"Yeah...yeah....I know. I'm grounded for a year," Barbie grumbled....
Ken stood beside her....both weren't looking forward to the possible punishment they were going to face.

But however....that wasn't the case.
Barbie was surprised to see that her parents were hugging her.

Barbie allowed herself to relax.

"So....can we go get ice cream now?" Ken grinned, "I'm starving."

At that they laughed.

Barbie rolled her eyes at her best friend and secret crush.

"You're always starving....you dork," Barbie smacked his shoulder jokingly.

Barbie was threatened. Her parents were nearly killed. She and her family got ambushed. And they probably need some real relaxing to fix their tense mood.

However, it was all worth it.
Barbie spent so much time with her best friend and secret crush, she saved her parents from some criminal who wanted to take over the world with Calisto, control the whole electricity on earth and use it as a weapon.
So pretty much they saved the whole world, too

In a private study....the man wasn't happy about all this happening .
He gripped his phone tightly in his hand, listening to the other person on the other side.

"What do you mean that the plan failed?!?" he snarled, "I've done everything I could to make sure that this time Bruce wouldn't fail!"

The other man started talking timidly.
"They said that he was stopped by a 13 year old girl and a 13 year old boy."

The man scowled.....
"Send me everything about them."

With that he hung up and sat down on his chair.
He opened his laptop....and he saw a notification.
He had a new email.

He opened it and saw two pictures.

One was a young blond boy.

And the other was a young blonde girl.
He started reading the info on them.

"Barbie Roberts, huh? You will regret ever crossing me, little girl."
