(This chapter takes place after Zoe and William are released from Pentagon under the order of the president to investigate the matter further)

Third person's POV

"I am not telling you anything," Bruce Fleming said stubbornly.

That's what they all say. But they end up spilling their guts at the end, Zoe thought to herself as she smirked at the man.

William didn't seem to be bothered by his lack of cooperation. In fact, it was to be expected.

"Dunbar was smart enough to cover his tracks....so you wouldn't cause him any trouble," William stated calmly, "But you forgot the fact that you're still a criminal who escaped jail. If you don't give us the information we need, it's not that hard to pin all the blame on you."

Fleming's determination faltered. He gulped unsurely.
He knew well enough that if he took the blame for all of his boss's crimes, maybe he'd never be out of jail ever again.

But at the same time, he knew that if he told them anything, Dunbar would kill him for sure.

"So tell me....Who were you working for...both five years ago and now?" William demanded. Despite his calmness, his patience was running out.

But he wasn't the only one who was getting more and more frustrated.
Zoe knew full well that they needed to gather evidence....and quickly. And she needed to remain calm, in control and focused on the task at hand.

But she couldn't help but worry about both Barbie and Cassandra....who were currently in the hospital right inside Pentagon.
She was trained to keep her emotions in check at all times. But right now her anxiety was through the roof.

"I.....I need some water....please," Fleming squeaked out pathetically.
William sighed, truly frustrated with this idiot.

Zoe just got up from her chair and poured some water in the glass and pushed it towards him with a firm glare.

Fleming fumbled and grabbed at the glass but he was quite surprised.
Ms. Zee was known for never losing her cool.
And she was starting to lose her cool....which was bad news.

He finally finished drinking the water and with a shaky hand he placed the glass on the table.

"C-Can I have a break....please? This is all too much," he stuttered.
That was when Zoe had finally had enough of this ridiculous pity party.

However before she could say anything, William nodded and they both headed out.

"We need an approach to get him to tell us the info we need," William sighed as he rubbed his temple.

Ms. Zee seemed to be in thoughts. She started pacing in the hall back and forth....
"And we're running out of time," she stated, "We need reliable proofs to put him in jail once and for all," the venom in her voice surprised him.

William was quite sure that she was worried about Barbie and Cassandra and at the same time she was furious...

"We need to take extreme measures to get the info we need from him plus a confession," Zoe stated seriously.

William stated at her as if she had lost her mind completely.
"You do know we can't torture him," he whispered to her, "That's illegal!"

Ms. Zee shook her head and scoffed. Despite the fact she didn't hate the idea of doing that. It wasn't exactly what she meant.
"No of course not," she replied, "I meant that we scare him to spill his guts."

"But how exactly?" William raised an eyebrow curiously.
About that part....she wasn't exactly sure how. But they could simply improvise and come up with something.
