Barbie's POV

This was definitely not what I was expecting.

I quickly tapped on my earpiece.
"Guys! We need backup now!"

All the guests were screaming and running towards the exit but the exit was already blocked by...whoever these people were.

Cassandra quickly rushed to my side we both were ready for the fight.

"We need to get out of here," Ken stated...sounding concerned, "They're targeting you, Barbie!"

But I wasn't going to back down....not ever....and definitely not now!

One of those men in black charged at me with a sword but I quickly jumped out of his way so his sword hit a statue...that fell and broke.

"Are you going to pay for that?" I deadpanned sassily.

The man laughed and shrugged.
"Doesn't matter....I will be a rich man and you'll be dead soon."

I rolled my eyes and scoffed.
Did he really think he could beat me in a battle? He couldn't even hold that damn sword properly.

I gave a curt laugh.
"Do me a favor and tell your boss to come after me himself....instead of sending some incompetent assassins after me...it's kinda getting old now."

The man growled at the insult and swung his sword at me....which I dodged it by doing a roundoff backwards and landed on my feet.

The man rushed forward and tried to strike me with his sword which I also dodged it perfectly....I grabbed his wrist tightly and twisted it just enough to loosen his grip on the sword.

Then I kneed him in stomach causing him to drop to the ground then I slammed him to the ground....knocking him unconscious.

"Idiot," I muttered under my breath.

I looked over at where the weapons were displayed.....

That's when I noticed something odd.

Not all of them were trying to kill me. Those men were sent by two different parties....I assumed.

How did I know? Because some of those henchmen started fighting with each other.

"We need to stop them from stealing those weapons!" Cassandra exclaimed.

Right in the corner I noticed that a couple of those henchmen had rushed towards the hexagon looking tech.

My eyes went wide in shock as I dashed towards that as fast as I could.
The last thing any of us needed was for the event of five years ago to repeat again.

I quickly threw my gliss full force at the guy who was trying to remove the glass case.....and he fell on the ground unconscious.

"Don't you know you shouldn't be touching something that doesn't belong to you?" I spat at their direction.

They looked at each other for a brief moment as if they could communicate with telepathy.
Then two of them walked towards.

One of them pulled out a dagger and charged at me.
I quickly dodged his knife...
I grasped his wrist and with a high kick to his chin I sent him flying backwards.

But right then a flash of light disturbed my vision....which was followed by a jolt of pain to my temple.

I groaned in pain and fell back down, rubbing the sore spot. I looked up to see the second henchman who was standing in front of me with a sword in his hand. I gritted my teeth in pain.

Off to the side, Cassandra was busy taking care of more of those guys.
So I had to deal with this one on my own.

The man was about to strike me with his sword but his sword got blocked by another sword.
