Barbie's POV

"I hate to say it...but that's a crazy plan," I stated, "We're talking about the White House! How is Patricia going to find the double-agent among all those people there?"

"That's where the rest of you will come in. Patricia will be wearing a pair of contact lenses so you all can monitor everything she hears and sees."

I glanced at my teammates.

"Maybe some of us should go in with Patricia," Cassandra suggested, "It may be safer this way."

"And who exactly?" grandpa asked, "Thanks to Sligo's associates you're still not a safe option....Barbie is the leader of the team and she's already a target."

"What about the rest of us?" Sarah asked curiously, "Clearly we can help."

"She has a point," I agreed.

Grandpa nodded. "I had given that some thought as well. Since it's possible for Patricia to get in trouble...you and Stella will be there as backup. Teresa would be helping Barbie monitoring the mission while Renee and Cassandra will be digging up information about the suspects."

Now that was a good plan.

"When should we be ready for our trip?" I asked.

"Tonight at 6 p.m," grandpa replied causing me to choke on my coffee.

"Isn't it a bit....soon for that?" I asked.

Grandpa shrugged. "I mean you got suspended...why not use the opportunity for the mission?"

My eyes widened in shock.
How did he know about that?!

"So you'd all better go home and start packing. See you all here at the arranged time," he said.

I got up from my chair and was about to leave.
"Barbie, can I have a word with you?" Ms. Z asked.

I nodded. "Yes, of course."

With that she led me to her office.
"Is everything okay?" I asked nervously.

"Your mother told me about a situation with you receiving death threats," she began, "So there's a chance Dunbar is teaming up with Gama."

I felt a chill going down my spine.

"So while you're on the mission....I want you to keep an eye on any suspicious activity that suggests he is involved, and report to me immediately," she continued.

I nodded in understanding.
"Should I take actions if things get out of control?" I asked.

"It won't escalate to that. We'll be observing everything. In case things go wrong, we'll take appropriate actions. But I also need you to look after Cassandra," she replied.

I smiled. "I'm sure Cassandra wouldn't get in trouble. Actually I believe she's capable."

Ms. Z nodded. "I know. And I believe in her....but truth to be told, she can be truly reckless...but that's not the only thing I'm worried about."

I blinked in surprise.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"I believe you're not the only target to Dunbar," she stated as I gasped in shock.

"He's.....t-targeting Cass?" I said stunned.

She sighed. "It is possible. I just want you to make sure she doesn't get in trouble."

I knew Cassandra wouldn't be happy to learn about this. But despite that I nodded.

"And one more thing, please be careful out there," I could sense concern in her eyes as she placed a hand on my shoulder, "You're not just an agent. You're family to me."
