The drive itself was quite quiet the only noises being of the cats and owls wandering around in the night one cat, in particular, was staring into the darkness until an old man appears out of it wearing purple robes and a hat taking out a small device he clicks it making every light in the lamposts absorb into it as he finishes he hears a meow looking down at the cat staring at him he smiles fondly at the cat
"I should have known that you would be here...professor McGonagall" the cat suddenly transforms into an elderly woman wearing similar robes to the man but in emerald green
"Good evening Professor Dumbledore," she says with a smile before gaining a serious expression
"Are the rumours true Albus?" She asks with both a serious tone and a sad one as they walk Dumbledore glances towards her
"I'm afraid so professor the good and the bad..." At the mention of them, McGonagall looks towards him
"And the boy?" Dumbledore looks at her again before looking forward
"Hagrid is bringing him" McGonagall gives him a questioning look
"Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this? Especially with who could be there?" She asks making Dumbledore stop in his tracks
"Ah Professor I would trust Hagrid with my life...besides we still don't know if they are alive...we were lucky they took him away from the boy" before she can say anything both of them hear a noise above them turning around they see a light getting closer until it lands revealing a tall man with long hair and a beard
Taking off his goggles he nods to the two professors
"Professor Dumbledore Sir Professor McGonagall" both nod back with Dumbledore smiling at him
"No problems I trust Hagrid?" He asks meaning multiple things Hagrid however only picks up on one
"No sir little tike fell asleep jus as we were flyin over Bristol" McGonagall sighs before stepping forward
"And what of you know who? We're they there?" Hagrid's cheery mood goes serious
"No professor I suspect they must've took em elsewhere" as he says this they hear movement behind each turning around Dumbledore and McGonagall draw their wands before lowering them at what they see with wide eyes

"Professors Hagrid" the figure greets them all looked shocked apart from Dumbledore who wears a calm expression
"Raven" he greets whilst McGonagall looks flabbergasted
"If you are here does that mean...?" The figure known as Raven nods
"Indeed it does Professor the Dark Lord lies dead the war is over" they all gain shocked expressions before morphing into happy expressions as Hagrid walks over and side hugs them
"Knew you'd do it you've done this world a pleasure u have!" chuckling slightly the masked figure looks over to them all
"If I may can I see the boy?" Nodding Hagrid hands over the boy to them allowing them to look at them
"It seems my spell worked good I feared the boy would be hurt in any way there seems to be just a scar..." They trail off as they all continue to walk towards one of the houses as they do McGonagall gains a grave expression and concern
"Albus do you really think it's safe leaving him with these people? I've watched them all day they're the worst sort of Muggles imaginable they really are-"
"The only Family he has" Dumbledore interjects noticing Raven steps forward
"If you would like I can keep tabs on the boy after all I am quite good friends with one of said Muggles," they say getting a nod from Dumbledore he gives Raven a letter as McGonagall looks at the boy
"This boy will be famous there won't be a child in our world who won't know his name" she states making Dumbledore glance at her again
"Exactly he's far better off growing up away from all that...until he's ready" they hear sniffling and turn to see Hagrid with tears in his eyes
"There there Hagrid it's not really goodbye after all" they all glance at the boy again
"Good luck...Harry Potter" they all leave one by one leaving only Hagrid and Raven looking at the half-giant Raven nods
"Don't worry Hagrid I'll make sure he's fine" nodding Hagrid gets on his bike but not before looking back to the masked person
"I know ave already said this but you've done this world a true favour thank you" Raven merely nods as Hagrid flys away waiting for a moment they turn back to the house and knock loudly waiting a minute before knocking again Until a man opens the door
"Who the hell is knocking a-"
"Vernon" Vernon visibly pales at the sight of them backing up slightly
"R-Raven what are you doing here?" Raven stares silently unnerving him more
"I have news is Petunia up?" Nodding a bit Raven walks into the house going straight to the living room where Petunia was sitting with a baby with her looking up she smiles
"Raven! What are you doing here?" they visibly sigh before sitting down on the couch
"I have good news and bad news Petunia" noticing their tone Petunia gives her son over to Vernon before turning back to them
"The bad news first please" Raven takes a moment before responding
"Lily and James are dead" both Petunia and Vernon gasp with wide eyes at the news before Vernon steps forward
"And the good news?" Looking over at Vernon for a moment Raven gives Harry over to Petunia making their eyes widen further
"I saved young Harry here and killed the one responsible for his parent's death" there's silence for a moment before Petunia speaks up
"You want us to care for him?" Raven nods slowly
"I do you know my line of work is dangerous and keeping a child with me especially my godchild won't be possible...and I also know that leaving him here he won't have the best life considering your problems with James and Lily...and im the only person in the wizarding world you trust but please try to be as kind to him as you would little Dudley there" getting up they reach the door before turning back to them
"If it was any other way he'd be going to his other godparent rather than you but they are currently in prison and like I said, I cannot care for them...however I will try to visit each time it's his birthday so look forward to that" tipping their hat they give the Dursleys the letter from Dumbledore before leaving the house looking back just for a moment
"Farewell for now...Mr Potter"

(Quick note I've never read the books so I will mainly be using the movies as a reference although I will try to implement things from the books
Harry Potter films were a main part of my childhood and I regret not reading the books especially with what was left out front the books
