Chapter 3: Platform 9/3 Quarters

A couple of hours later

Harry Hagrid and Raven were walking through Kings Cross Station
Getting weird looks as they were (mainly at Raven)

Hagrid checks his watch but gains wide eyes as he does stopping in his tracks

"BLIMEY IM OUT OF TIME! sorry Harry im gonna have to leave you dumbledore will be wanting his...well he'll be wanting to see me.." reaching into his pocket he brings out a ticket

"Your train leaves in ten minutes here's your ticket and stick to it Harry it's very important stick to your ticket!" Harry looks at his ticket while Hagrid and Raven share a quick hug before Hagrid leaves secretly using apparation

"But Hagrid there must be a mistake this says platform 9 3/4 there's no such thing is the-" looking up Harry now realises Hagrid is gone his eyes widening at the fact before turning to Raven who was still there

"There is such a thing Harry come I'll show you" Harry nods and follows Raven who still keeps getting odd looks from the passerby they walk to the middle of Platforms 10-9 but stop suddenly

"Well ill be is that you Raven?" Turning Raven turns to see a ginger family looking at him the mother of the group fondly whereas all the children are looking at the masked being in total awe the twins of the group more so than the rest

Nodding Raven takes a step forward hugging her

"It's been a while Molly when was the last time I saw you and Arthur?" Molly thinks for a moment before looking back at them

"Since before the Potters so 12 years exactly...well that makes me feel old!" Raven nods before looking at Molly's kids who are looking at her in shock

"Mum you never told us you know the plague!" Harry looks confused and looks at Raven

"Plague?" Raven shrugs

"A nickname anyway let's show you the wonders of the wizarding world" nodding Molly turns to her children

"All right Percy you first" Percy nods and lines his trolley up before speeding into the wall between Platforms 9/10 and phasing through it causing Harry's eyes to yet again widen in wonder

Molly turns to the twins

"Fred you next" the twins turn to each other

"He's not Fred I am!"  One of them says

"Honestly woman you call yourself our mother" the other does making Molly look apologetic

"Oh sorry George"  "George" walks to the middle with his trolley before turning to Molly

"Only joking I am Fred!" Molly gives a playful glare as both the twin's phase through the wall leaving only Molly and two of her children and Harry and Raven who was chuckling at the twins

Still looking at the wall in Shock Harry finally turns to Raven who looks down at him

"Ho- how do I-"

"How do you do that?" Raven's interruption makes Harry nod feebly making Raven crouch down to him not seeing Molly's smile at the two

"There's Nothing to worry about Harry everyone questions about entry to the platform once in their lives isn't that right Molly?" Molly nods along to their words as Raven turns back to Harry

"See it's quite easy all you do is aim straight at the wall between these platforms but it's better to do it in a bit of a jog if you're nervous" giving him a pat on the back Raven watches Harry take a deep breath and phase through the wall waiting a moment Raven turns to Molly and her kids and gestures to the wall

"After you"

Time skip brought by Harry in awe at the Hogwarts express and Raven chatting with Molly

After helping Harry with his trolley Raven bid him adieu seeing as how they are to patrol the train for trouble

This was another job that Raven had undergone as the new security of Hogwarts personally Raven enjoyed the journey letting them sink in nostalgia and the fact that they wanted to just take the train to Hogwarts

But in their defence not all journeys are safe and them being on the train helped the passengers more than they realised but for now, they would relish in the comfort of rest and save those thoughts for later...

20 minutes later

Getting a little bored Raven starts their first patrol walking through the train and getting looks of total shock from everyone

"Is that?!"

"There's no way..."

"Oh my God!"

"It is!"

"Wicked"

Chuckling Raven glanced to see it was Molly's twins that said that noting at that moment those two would be a source of entertainment at the castle

Continuing on they enter the next cart getting the same reactions again but stop at what they see in front of them

'Draco?' Walking over Raven hears part of their Godchild's conversation with someone

"And a hand me down robe you must be a Weasley" walking closer Raven hears more

"You don't want to go making friends with the wrongs sorts Potter I can help you there" finally reaching them Raven hears Harry in the compartment

"I think I can figure out the wrong sort for myself thanks"

"A good answer" Draco and his group turn around rapidly whereas Harry and the Weasley look up seeing Raven now exactly behind them peering down at them

Nothing is said as Raven looks around them before turning to Draco

"Well, Draco? Aren't you going to introduce me to your new acquaintances?" Draco straightens up immediately and points to them

"This is Crabbe and that's Goyle" nodding Raven brings their hand out but Draco puts it down

"You don't have to shake their hand!" He huffs getting a chuckle from Raven and a raised eyebrows from Harry and the Weasley

"Well if that's the case I think you're not wanted in this compartment and before you retort I heard everything...we'll have a chat about it later understood?" Draco nods and walks off with his goons watching them for a moment Raven turns back to the compartment

"I'd apologise for his behaviour but with the father he has you won't be seeing an improvement but for the sake of it I apologise for my Godson" Harry and the Weasley shrug it off not caring for Draco at all Raven then turns to the Weasley

"Now if it serves me right you are young Ronald correct?" Ron nods slowly still in a bit of shock that Ravens even here

"A pleasure then Molly told me a lot about you in the short time we met are you excited about Hogwarts?" Ron nods and shakes Ravens hand now looking at his like he touched a divine being 

"Yes Sir..." Raven chuckles

"There's no need to call me that Mr Weasley I'd prefer Professor oh and that  means the same for you to Harry for the time being at Hogwarts refer to me as Professor unless in private understand?" Harry nods with a smile along with Ron

"I must continue my patrol but until then Mr Potter Mr Weasley" with a tip of their hat Raven walks off

"That was bloody brilliant!"

Oh this year was going to be fun...
