We won our games against the hornets the score being 7-3. I scored three of the goals, Adam scored two, Aspen scored one, and Charlie scored one. Next step is the semi-finals against the Cardinals.

Adam picked me up and spun me around, something he does after every game. It's basically a fun tradition now. "We did it, Banks!" I said hugging him. "Yeah we did. The dream duo strikes again!"

Adam's stuck on calling us the dream duo because, well actually I don't know. I just let him live.

-

"See ya later, Banks?" I asked grabbing my hockey bag. We were all sitting in the locker room after the game.

"You know it. Window?"

"Window." I repeated kissing his cheek. He smiled as a blush took over his face. "Bye, Connie." I said giving her a hug. She was in the middle of talking to Guy so I did it in purpose. I jokingly winked at Guy behind Connie's back to make fun of him.

Sometimes, they'll be talking and I'll take Connie away from him. Then I wink at him and tell him, 'I'm taking what's rightfully mine.'

"Bye, Scar. See you later. Love you." Connie grinned after releasing my hug.

"Did ya hear that, Guy? She's loves me." I joked while he stuck his tongue out at me.

I walked out of the locker room over to Bianca while I waited for Aspen. "Hey, B."

"Ah, I'm so proud of you guys! Where's Aspen?" She said hugging me. "Saying goodbye to her boyfriend, Charlie." I rolled my eyes. "He's not my boyfriend." Aspen scoffed walking up to us.

Aspen has a crush on Charlie but she won't admit it, and Charlie has a crush on Aspen, but he won't admit it because he thinks Aspen doesn't like him. It's a whole big mess, honestly.

"Oh my god! I have to approve first." Bianca squealed as we walked out of the rink. "I hate you, Scarlett." Aspen sighed as we walked to the car. "I love you more, babe." I joked wrapping my arm around her.

-

"Hey, Banksie." I smiled as he climbed into my room from the window. "What are ya doing?" He asked plopping himself in my bean bag. "Making something." I replied focused on the things in front of me. "And that something is?..."

"For you." I grinned holding up a chain. I had a necklace chain laying around so I attached an 'A' charm on it.

"Now, this might sound stupid, but I wanted to give you this. Everyone and everything good in my life always leave, or get fucked up. I want this to last. I don't know what's gonna happen in the future, but I need it to. Even if we end up just being friends. I don't think I can handle loosing you too. You've been an amazing friend, and an even better boyfriend, Adam Banks. So please, take this."

"I'm not leaving." He said grabbing my hand. "Promise?" I asked holding out my pinkie, making myself and Adam laugh. "Promise." He nodded giving me a small kiss on my forehead.

"Aww!" We hear two voices say. We looked over to see Connie and Aspen standing in Aspen's window watching us. The window was wide open and so was mine. "What the hell!"

"Oh shit, run, Connie!"

"Shut the window!"

"I can't! It's suck!"

"Are they always gonna do that?" Adam asked looking at the two girls who were trying to shut Aspen's window. "Oh, for sure."

"Hey, did you know Aspen and Charlie like each other?" Adam questioned making me laugh. "I know all about that."

-

"How come I had to find out about your relationship through hockey gossip at school?" My sister barged into my room. "Relationship?" My brother ran in the room.

"Because you guys don't care enough to ask." I raised my eyebrows at the two. "You don't tell us anything."

"Why should I? You're assholes, plus you only pretend to care when mom and dad are around so you can please them."

"No, we care." My sister insisted and my brother just nodded. "Yeah? Well I'd you care so much, get out."

"At least you cared enough to tell Bianca." Jenny scoffed crossing her arms. "At least Bianca cares enough to ask. At least Bianca cares enough to listen! Unlike you."

"Congrats on the semi-playoffs, you bitch."

"Thank you so much." I said sarcastically. I walked up and shoved my middle finger near her face. Then I slammed the door. It's not a dramatic end to a good conversation without a middle finger and a slammed door. Especially with my parents and siblings.

Arguments like these sometimes get me upset. I'm used to it mostly but sometimes I couldn't help but wish I had a normal family. A family who loves me, a family who cares, a family who supports me.

I wiped the tears falling out of my eyes and took a deep breath while shaking out my hands. That helps me calm down.

My phone started to ring so I picked it up while sitting in my desk chair, "Hello?" I asked sniffling. "Hey, is everything ok over there?" Aspen's soft voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Yeah, just Jenny and Joey."

"You sure? You sound upset. Wanna hang out to take your mind off of it?"

"That'd be great. Sleep over at your house?"

"Yep, I'll call Connie?"

"Yeah. Thanks A.J."

"Of course, love. See you in five."

"Love you."

"I love you."

Sometimes, since our houses are so close you can hear the fighting my family has. Aspen and Connie usually call to check me and we end up hanging out. Adam calls whenever he hears too. He climbs through the window and we just lay in my bed till we both fall asleep.
