"Oh, uh, hey Ellington..." I say, chuckling nervously.
"So, I'm going to go and hang out with one of your brothers." Cassidy says, getting up and leaving the room.
"So, Rydel. Something about you being in love with me?" Ellington asks, shifting uncomfortably from his spot in the middle of my room.
"Pft, why would I say that. I said I love you, which of course I do! You're like another brother to me."
Ellington's POV
I can't be mad at her. Why would she be in love with me, anyway? I've never done anything to give her a reason to fall in love with me. Maybe she did say it, but doesn't want to admit it? No, she wouldn't lie to me.
"Oh, okay." I say, holding back a blush for thinking that's what she said.
"Wanna do something?" She asks me, propping her feet on her bed.
"Sure. Board games with the boys?" I ask her, fiddling with my bracelets.
"Yep, perfect. Go tell the boys, I'll get the games." She says, getting up from her bed and leaving the room.
I look over to her desk, and I see a small book with a blank cover sitting on it. I approach the desk, and take the book, stuffing it in my back pocket.
I go downstairs, and find the boys sitting on the couch.
"Hey guys, Rydel wants to know if you want to play board games with us?" I ask them.
"No thanks, we should let Rydellington have their alone time." Ross says, smirking at his own comment.
"Alright, don't play then." I mumble, walking away from them, and back up the stairs.
I hear footsteps behind me, but I just continue up the stairs, back into Rydel's room. Once I reach her room, I turn around, and see Riker following behind me.
"I'm not letting you guys play alone." He says, scoffing.
Before I can reply, Rydel enters the room, holding a board game.
"So, I got Candy Land. Not too hard, not too easy. Just easy enough to have a quick game." She says, sitting in the middle of the room and beginning to set up the game.
We all sit around the board, Rydel shuffling the cards and placing them on the board. We each choose our game piece, before beginning the game.
After three games, one flipping of the board, and a quitting of the game, we finally came to a conclusion that Riker was somehow cheating, because he kept winning. Riker eventually got up to go to the bathroom, so I scooted closer to Rydel, wrapping my arm around her.
"He's so protective over you. a You're lucky to have a brother like him." I say to her, smiling slightly.
"I know, it bugs me. I'm 21 years old, but he thinks I can't handle my own life." She says quietly, snuggling her head into my shoulder.
"No, he thinks you can't handle this." And with that, I grip her chin, turning her face towards me, and kiss her passionately.
I don't know what had overcome me, but I kissed her with as much passion as possible. It got heated quickly, with us lying on the ground, basically having a make out session. She was lying on top of me, her tongue roaming my mouth. I had my hands in her hair, feeling it's softness between my fingers.
"Wow, I go to the bathroom for one freaking minute and it turns into a make out session."

Ooh, Riker is angry... Hey marshmallows, I haven't updated in over a week... Sorry about that, I haven't had time. I was gonna update on Tuesday, but then I got a really bad stomach ache, and I felt like I was dying and as if I was going to throw up. Sorry about the late update, and I hope you all enjoyed! Btw, I got this journal on clearance from Target... it's a journal full of sarcastic/negative comments 😂 I'll probably put one at the end of each chapter. I'm gonna do a quote of the day instead of a fact from now on.
