The Real Rydellington

Chapter 3

Kenton's P.O.V.

"Hey guys!" I say cheerfully.

"Rydel! You never said you were dating one of my friends!" Ross says, as I can tell that his acting skills are kicking in. Good Ross, keep doing that so you don't blow our cover.

"Well, he is hot. And you already know him and know that he is right for me." Rydel says as she twirls her hair, looking off into the distance dreamily. Thank goodness these Lynch's all have good acting skills.

"And, we love eachother. You can't interfere with our love." I say as I wrap my arms around Rydel's waist.

She giggles. I think she actually thought what I said was funny.

"Well then, I don't believe you guys are a couple. And everybody else here has never seen Rydel kiss a boy, so kiss." I hear Kelly say rudely.

"Well, I don't think you guys want to see any PDA. It gets kind of heated when we kiss." Rydel says.

"I agree." I say. I don't want to ruin Rydel's first kiss just to prove something fake to some snotty girl.

"Come on, Rydel. We want to witness what your first kiss may have looked like." Stormie says.

"Fine. Lets reenact it, Kenton." She says.

I spin her around and look her in the eyes. By the look of her eyes, I can tell she's okay with this. I place my forehead against hers as she gives me a reassuring smile. I look deeply into her eyes, and start to lean in. I feel her lean in to, but when our lips are about to touch, someone interrupts.

"Rydel, we need to talk."

And surprisingly, the voice belonged to Ellington.
