An Insane Thought: 50K

So, though I am not a huge fan nor proud of this work, it is my most successful on Wattpad. And that's why I'm here.

It is completely insane that this story has reached 50K reads. I started this nearly three years ago, and I never imagined it getting this far. I expected a couple hundred reads, let alone fifty thousand. I know that no one reads this book anymore, but I felt obligated to comment on this. It is what I've been most successful on as an author, and it needs to be recognized.

My writing has definitely developed into something to be considered good in the past three years, and this was a beginning for me. I had liked R5 for about a year and a half, and I barely knew anything about them. You know how I discovered R5? I discovered Ross Lynch fanfiction, and I knew who he was. Every damn fanfic gave him siblings named Rydel, Rocky, Riker, and Ryland. I didn't understand why, so I googled it. And that's how I discovered R5. I bought Louder at Target the day after it was released, and I've been here since.

Really, I am not hugely for R5 anymore. My music taste has further developed, and my favorite band has most recently been Panic! At the Disco. I've grown alongside the band, and I really don't find myself checking up on them anymore.

But listening to them still brings a jolt to my chest, one that I remember having back when I first discovered them. My first band I fell in love with was R5, and I of course will always have an emotional attachment to them. Deep down, my heart still soars when I see pictures of Rydel and Ellington. I've shipped them since day one, before even they had done anything without the fandom being aware. I was here through the entire wait for Sometime Last Night, and here further since things up until now.

But, aside from all my history alongside this band, I want to thank you all. Without the readers, this story would be nowhere. Honestly? It wouldn't even still be up.

I don't have much else to say beside how surreal 50,000 reads is.
