The Real Rydellington

Chapter 4

Rydel's P.O.V.

I was about to have my first kiss. And it was with my best friend. When we were about to kiss, a voice interrupted us.

"Rydel, we need to talk."

And the voice belonged to Ellington.

I back away from Kenton. I grab Ellingtons wrist and drag him upstairs and into my bedroom.

"What do you want, Ellington?" I sneer.

"I want to be friends with you again." He says.

"Seriously? After almost five years of hating me, now you wanna be my friend again?" I ask.

"Yes. Rydel, I miss you. I miss your playful personality, I miss how you will act like one of the guys until the subject involves clothes, and I miss how when I would come over, you wouldn't leave and you would actually talk to me." He says.

"You know, the reason our friendship was crashed was because Kelly told you rumors that weren't true." I say.

"Kelly told me that you went from guy to guy, dating them, and then moving on to the next until you found another." He says.

"I've never even had my first kiss.The real rumors I thought you heard weren't that bad." I say.

"I'm sorry, Rydel. You can call me by my nickname's again. Also, can I try something?" He asks.

"Its fine, Elly Bear. And yes, you can try something." I say.

And before I could process what was happening, Ellington's lips were on mine. This was my first kiss.

And it was with the person I love.
