Months have passed since that day in the arena when Sin, Lucius and Castien had been rewarded with an achievement that proved their prowess in battle. Throughout the passing of time many things have changed and occurred for the students of the Academy and while Sin was still working on achieving his next achievement; he was fine with knowledge that his work hadn't completely paid off yet considering that he had truly found other beings that had become his closest friends.

While Castien had already been the closet to Sin out of anyone else within the Academy, this closeness only grew as they started spending more time together as they each studied their chosen paths and through this time that they spent together they revealed more parts of their past to one another which allowed them to truly begin to understand one another.

Besides Castien, Sin had grown close to Lucius as well as Nohki considering the time that they spent with one another within the classes that Sylris instructed and though they still needed to form a stronger bond with one another; the process was starting down the correct path.

Along with the three males that Sin spends most of his free time with, there was another that he started associating with. This being was known as Mita Tedash which happened to be dwarf that Sin had fought within the arena at the beginning of the tournament that had rewarded Sin with his third marking. From spending time with Mita, he had been able to learn that she and Lucius were dormmates which had allowed the two of them to grow as close as Sin and Castien had.

Today was the day that Kanerra granted to the students to spend however they pleased and considering that on his other free days that he had been given throughout the passing months, he had spent studying and forming a closer bond with Inari; Sin decided that he would finally join his friends while they spent their time within the city of Athesa.

Currently the group was sitting around a table outside of a tavern that supposedly served some of the best food within the city though considering that Sin had nothing to compare it too since he hadn't spent much time within the city; he had to go on the word of those that surrounded him. Taking bites here and there while also allowing Inari to do the same if he didn't shove his entire muzzle into the meal, Sin could understand why his companions believed that this was the best food in the city considering how delicious it was.

Even with the food being delicious in his opinion, Sin was finding it difficult to genuinely enjoy the meal like the others were since he felt as if every eye within the city were boring holes into his body.

With this uneasy feeling flickering through his body, Sin lost focus on eating the meal before him and eventually turned his attention completely away from it. This caused Inari to believe that the food was no fair game for any who wished to partake in it and caused the Kitsune to pounce upon the meal that Sin had abandoned.

Now that he had his attention focused on his surroundings; he came to understand that his sixth sense was in fact correct. Scanning his environment, Sin could see that the other patrons that were outside of the same establishment as he was as well as those passing by on the street were glaring and throwing out horrendous words.

One comment caused the blood that flowed through his veins to boil, and he immediately wanted to filet the flesh from the human's body. As Sin was trying to decide if he would show the citizens of Athesa how monstrous he could become; he must not have been able to contain the fury that was flowing through him.

Considering that his companions were able to notice the way that Sin was bristling with rage, they began to pay more attention to their surroundings as well which allowed them to finally notice the stares and comments that were fluttering through the area.
