"Well...well...well...I heard rumors that a Summoner was harassing my crew though from the looks of it, you haven't been studying your craft exceptionally long." A deep voice flickered throughout the area as the being that had been following the Raider that Soren had just snatched; came to a rest a few paces away from Sin.
Once this man stopped his movements, Sin watched as the remaining Raiders that were following him disengaged from their enemies and formed lines behind him. While Sin could see that many Raiders had fallen in this battle that had transpired between the two forces, it was clear from the armor upon most of the bodies that they were the ones with the numbers which evidently meant that they would be the ones to win this battle if he couldn't figure out a way to get out of the situation that he found himself in.
Staring at the being who flaunted his gift in such a corrupt way caused fury to rise within him though this fury only amplified the feelings of failure that he felt for himself. Dropping his eyes for just a moment, Sin tried to push these feelings down lest they impede him from figuring a way out of this. As his eyes were glancing downwards, he noticed that the earth that had trapped him was slowly inching its way up his legs which only made it even more essential that he figured a way out to escape.
Once more, Sin began to thrash against his bonds which suddenly started to cause the earth to spread faster upon his body. Following this, a cruel laughter broke free from the being that was responsible for this. "Struggling will only end your life faster, which would keep you from witnessing what is about to happen to those foolish enough to follow you into battle!" the Mage snarled which caused Sin's eyes to flicker back towards the man.
Doing this, allowed him to see the twitch of the Mage's hand which must have been a signal to his men considering that a group of them broke free from the lines they were formed into and sprinted towards the remainder of the Zesian soldiers. Before Sin could call out to the Zesian's, two of them were already being gutted before being dropped lifeless to the ground.
Even though he knew that there wasn't anything that he could do, this didn't stop him from trying to ensure that more of the soldiers weren't killed needlessly. "Stop! Just stop..." Sin roared as he thrashed against his bonds once more and while he knew that this would only hasten his death, this didn't matter so much to him now considering the offer that he was about to make to the enemy Mage. "...you can do anything you please with me, so please; just stop!"
As his words faded from the world around him, Sin watched as the Mage held up a hand which stopped the Raider's from ending the lives of the Zesian soldiers that they had in their grasp. Once he was sure that his men were going do as he ordered, the Mage started moving towards Sin once more and with each step that he took; his voice echoed around them. "What an interesting young man you are. You would offer your own life to me in exchange for those you don't even know the names of?
By the time that the Mage had finished with his words, he had arrived directly before Sin and from this proximity; Sin had hope that he might be able to send this being to the depths of hell before he himself was sent to the next world. While he has decided to look for a way to fight back, he also decided that it would be wise of him to respond to the older Mage especially before the man grew tired of waiting and had his Raiders resume their slaughter on the Zesian Soldiers.
"I might not know them or know their names, but this world would weep upon learning about their demise while my death would equal nothing but a footnote in the history that follows." Sin retorted and while he was using these words to distract the enemy Mage from his true purpose, the words that he flung into the world were ones that he felt were true in the depths of his heart.
