about 2 hours had passed, jimin and jin were driving to namjoon's place where he said he'd be. he had called joon a few minutes before they arrived so the gate was already open when they got there. he bid jimin a goodbye and got out of the car, following his boyfriend inside.

"joonie, mr.jeon gave me this to give to you." seokjin said, pulling out the note from his pocket. namjoon took the note and opened it.

hello jinnie, i see you aren't home, if you were none of this would have happened. i could've gotten you and taken you back. right with the person you belong with. me. your first time, your first boyfriend, your first love. i know the way we ended wasn't the best. but i promise you, i'm going to get you back, alive or dead.

i miss feeling your soft skin on mine, touching you and loving you. it was a mistake to go for your cousin, but could you blame me, she looks just like you. but you were always better in every aspect. you were perfect. you still are perfect. that new boyfriend of yours will never compare to me. i'll always be the one just for you and you know it.

~sincerely, your lover, chanyeol

"seokjin, who's chanyeol?" namjoon said. seokjin head snapped up before he yanked the letter from namjoon's hands. his eyes skimmed over the letter and tears started to brim them. that was the last thing he was expecting to happen. when he was finally getting over chanyeol he just had to show his face again.

"seokjin, who is chanyeol?" namjoon asked again, more assertive this time. he needed to know, whoever this person is was not about to put the person he cares for in any type of danger.

"h-he's my ex boyfriend." was all he could say before he started crying again. "baby, come here." namjoon said softly, reaching over to the shivering boy. he pulled the letter away from seokjin's hands and stuffed it into his pocket. he wrapped his arms around him, holding him softly.

"jinnie breathe okay, everything's going to be okay." namjoon said soothingly. seokjin was slowly freaking out, everything just seemed to be crumbling before him. but at least he had namjoon. he seemed to be the only stable thing in his life at the moment. he wrapped his arms around the male and snuggled his face deeper into his chest.

while being hugged by namjoon was very comforting, his mind couldn't help but drift back to the note. if chanyeol was out to get him then that meant his cousin was probably single now. the last he saw of her was a little over a year at their family reunion. her and chanyeol seemed happy and in love while he was still heartbroken and moping about their break up.

a part of him is worried for his cousin, how is she handling this. they had to break up right, or he cheated on her and she's now feeling the same pain seokjin felt. a small part couldn't help but hope chanyeol cheated on her. he kinda wanted her to feel what he went through but then again the pain he felt at the time was so unbearable he just couldn't wish it upon her.

namjoon on the other hand couldn't help but wonder what happened between seokjin and chanyeol. just by the mention of the boys name seokjin fell quickly into distress. he obviously didn't read the letter before he got here. what kind of pain did he put seokjin through to make him react the way he was. his body was still slightly shaking and tears were still running down his face.

"baby, you wanna sit down?" namjoon asked softly, trying not to trigger anything. seokjin nodded softly, getting ready to detach his body from namjoon's but was caught off guard when namjoon quickly scooped him up. seokjin's arms were wrapped around namjoon's neck while namjoon carried him to the living room. he sat down placing seokjin in his lap.

namjoon wiped seokjin's tears just as fast as they came, he kept reminding him he was there for him and that he'd protect him. "i'm sorry." seokjin said just above a whisper.

"why are you sorry? you have nothing to be sorry for." namjoon said cradling seokjin. he felt bad, seokjin wouldn't be going through any of this if it wasn't for him. if he could go back and stop himself from going to coffeehouse he would. if he could stop himself from falling for seokjin he would. he didn't like putting someone he cares for in danger. that was one of the reasons he and jimin didn't last.

"because, i'm here for you. no matter what, you'll never go through any of this alone when you're with me." namjoon said quietly. seokjin smiled up at the man before placing a soft kiss on his lips. they stayed like that for a few minutes, practically trying to mold themselves into one.

almost two hours had passed, seokjin was asleep in namjoon's lap. namjoon stared down at the male while softly caressing his hair. he was about to move so he could lay down as well but the buzzing of his doorbell ringing caught him off guard. he wasn't expecting anyone and not many people know where he lives except close family and friends. he picked up seokjin and placed him on the sofa and walked towards the security camera footage.

the camera that was closest to the gate showed two men standing outside of a police car. he couldn't recognize neither one of them until one of them turned towards the camera.

"jungkook?" namjoon said softly to himself. he pressed the button for the gate to open and they both climbed back into the car and drove into the gate. namjoon then walked to the front door and opened it watching the car as it parked and they got out. then he realized who the other person was. jungkook's dad...
