seokjin laid dumbfounded in front of namjoon. his heart was beating faster than ever. he couldn't get any words out of his throat so he just vigorously shook his head and threw himself into namjoon's arms. namjoon just laughed while hugging the elders waist and pulling him on top of him.
seokjin sat with both of his legs straddling the younger's thighs. he had his head in the crook of namjoon's neck as he hugged the younger. was he happy? hell yeah. did he want to get off the younger? hell no.
he felt as if he was on cloud nine right now. though he never verbally said yes namjoon knew that the answer was yes just from his reaction. after so many years they both were in an actual relationship. a real one. not just the little flings namjoon had here and there. this was his second real relationship and he was going to treat seokjin the best yet.
seokjin finally thought that it was time to crawl off the younger after staying there for so long. his heart was still racing with excitement. they were officially a couple now. that means now if anyone asked either one of them they both could use the 'i'm in a relationship,' card.
namjoon wrapped his arms around seokjin's waist and pulled them together. seokjin had his head snuggled in namjoon's chest, he had a faint smile resting on his face and soon enough they both fell asleep in each other's arms.

the next morning wasn't as pleasant as the night before. yoongi had then walked in on the two and though he knew about the relationship that was blossoming between the two this was his first time actually seeing them together. he was happy for them. he actually squealed and snapped a few pictures getting ready to send them to his boyfriend then he remembered that they weren't 'together' anymore.
seokjin was still half asleep and was wondering why he saw his bestfriend's boyfriend walk in on him and his boyfriend. he couldn't really piece it together until he looked at namjoon's tattoo. then he remembered what he thought of the day namjoon told him about his line of work.
is yoongi really in this gang or mafia or whatever? he perked up immediately and jumped up out of the bed. he walked into the living room to see yoongi sitting on the couch sliding through pictures of him and hoseok. he wanted to ask him so bad but maybe not right now.
he slowly walked back to the room, eyes lingering on yoongi. he walked back into the room to see namjoon sitting up completely. he looked tired while rubbing his eyes. namjoon ended up getting up and they both went to the bathroom and freshened up.
about 10 minutes had passed until they both went back down stairs. namjoon passed yoongi who still sat in the same position but now he was reading old messages between him and hoseok. namjoon casually spoke to yoongi as if this was an everyday thing for him. seokjin who stood next to him looked at yoongi with confused and worried eyes.
seokjin grabbed namjoon's hand making him stop in his tracks. he motioned towards yoongi with a questioning glint in his eyes. he was worried, his friend didn't look terrible but he had bags the size of bolders under his eyes. he looked tired and sad. but not so bad where he looked as if he was starving himself or causing great pain upon himself.
"yoongs, you good?" namjoon said making the older jump out of his trance. yoongi looked back at the two and a smile stretched across his face. he stood up and namjoon got a good look at his eyes. red. either he's been crying or he's high and at the moment, with the groggily smile resting on yoongi's face right now, namjoon was going to choose the latter.
"i'm good, i'm perfect, never been better. you two are so cute, you know that?" yoongi said while laughing at nothing at all. he walked around the couch and towards the new couple. seokjin looked at him weirdly smelling the strong scent of weed.
"t-thanks, yoongi have you been smoking?" seokjin asked quickly cutting his sentence off. yoongi just giggled again and walked off towards the kitchen. namjoon scoffed and followed the giggly boy into the kitchen.
they walked into the kitchen to see yoongi grabbing a fruit roll up and mumbling hoseok's name. seokjin looked at namjoon worriedly. yoongi's emotions were switching up faster than a girl could change her clothes. not even a minute ago he was giggling now he was tearing up nibbling on a fruit roll up while whispering his boyfriends name.
"yoongs, are you okay? come here, you're doing it again." namjoon said while walking towards yoongi slowly. yoongi looked at him and groaned while putting his head on the cool counter.
"can you get me some water but with the jesus trick to it?" yoongi said while motioning towards the alcohol cabinet that had a lot of cheap wines and a variety of different alcohols. namjoon quickly pieced it together. yoongi was tired, tipsy, and high. three things that weren't a good mixture for him.
he'd always start switching emotions faster than one can blink and randomly saying things he wouldn't usually say. seokjin obviously had never seen yoongi in this state before because he stood dumbfounded and worried while namjoon just pinched the bridge of his nose. namjoon was disappointed and frustrated but was mainly happy yoongi wasn't off the wall drunk and seemed to have only taken a couple of shots of what he was drinking.
"joonie, can i talk to you?" seokjin said a little above a whisper. namjoon looked at him then back at the boy who had quickly fallen asleep on the counter. his snores were loud and he mumbled something between each.
"yeah, let me take him up to his room first." namjoon said while walking towards yoongi. he picked him up bridal style and carried him upstairs to his room. seokjin trailed behind the two with a worried look stuck to his face. he didn't know what was going on with yoongi nor did he understand.
namjoon laid yoongi's sleeping body down carefully and tucked him into the bed. seokjin stood at the door and stared at him. namjoon walked towards seokjin while closing the door behind him.
"what did you need to ask?" namjoon said while taking ahold of seokjin's hands. seokjin looked at the door before looking at his now boyfriend.
"is this an often thing?" seokjin asked quietly. namjoon shook his head while walking with seokjin back downstairs.
"no it was a couple of weeks ago but he chilled out for a while. to be honest, he's came in worse than that before so you have nothing at all to worry about."
"oh, is he, y'know, apart of your gang or mafia or whatever?" namjoon chuckled before nodding. seokjin gasped then put two and two together. they broke up because of his line of work.
"he's my right hand man, and if anything happens to me he's the one to take over. hoseok doesn't know though so don't tell him. it's yoongi's job to tell the truth." namjoon said while sitting back into the couch.
"so the leaving and not telling hobi where he was going was because he didn't tell hoseok his real line of work." seokjin said trying to connect the dots. namjoon nodded in approval. seokjin felt terrible, he understood why someone wouldn't tell their boyfriend that they work for the mafia, hell he was ready to drop namjoon because of it. also after what hoseok had been through as a child because of gangs he wouldn't tell him either.
he felt that it was his fault that they broke up. he pushed hoseok to break up with yoongi. he influenced hoseok's choice greatly now yoongi was suffering. he looked down at his feet trying to blink away the tears that were forming in his eyes.
"hey, what's wrong?" namjoon said while pulling jin into him. he lifted seokjin's face to wipe the tears. seokjin shook his head and put it back down whispering something underneath his breath.
"i-its my f-fault. i told hoseok to break it off with him. now they both are suffering but it seems as if yoongi is slowly killing himself now just because of what i told hoseok to do."
"no it's not your fault at all jinnie. hoseok's an adult, he makes his own choices. you didn't force him to make the choice he did. and besides, yoongi told me they were just on a break. i doubt that they'd even actually break up. plus, you may see it as something bad but he's getting better. this may be a small set back but he's way better than what he was in the beginning.
there were nights i was afraid he wouldn't wake up, but he's bettering himself. it may not seem like it but this isn't nothing, i'm most likely going to get on him later about this. calm down, it's not your fault and never was."...
