Glancing at the time in the corner of my screen it read 12:18 am.

"Shit it's late." I mumbled to myself.

Getting up, I switched off my light and plugged in my phone, resting it face down on my night stand so i wouldn't get tempted with notifications.

I was pretty tired but somehow found my mind constantly running like that fire I once started. I swear I tried so hard to put it out but no matter how close I got, it still stayed. Though eventually just like the fire I was out. Drifting away from my thoughts and just left with the peace of my breath.

At 2:36 am I was woken up by a constant buzzing vibrating against my nightstand.

"What the hell!?" I mumbled.

Without looking I reached for my phone and saw a face time call coming from

louis 🙄

accept decline

I accepted the call. I didn't want to but in case it was an emergency, I caved.

"Why the fuck are you calling my at like 3 am Louis!?" I screamed as loud as I could before my voice cracked.

I was squinting my eyes at the bright white screen which glared in front of me. Though he was laying on his bed, Louis looked quite awake. His room light was on and he had his head propped up on his palm as he laid on his side peering at me.

"Couldn't sleep." He read bluntly.

"Okay and weren't you the one who told me to actually get some sleep tonight!?" I responded, annoyed that he had woken me up.

"Oh yeah I did say that, but I didn't think you'd listen. You're the only one I know who stays up until weird hours so I called you." He said.

"Okay well you woke me up." I said rubbing my eyes.

"Sorry well I guess I'll let you go back to sleep." He replied.

He looked sincere, like he didn't actually think I'd be asleep, which I'm not sure if that's a good thing, but I didn't want him to feel bad.

"Wait no it's fine, I can stay on facetime for a little longer. I need to get some water anyways." I added.

"Okay yay!" Louis said excitedly like a little boy who got a fancy toy for Christmas.

I rolled my eyes and got up walking down my stairs and into the kitchen.

"So why are you still up?" I asked.

"I don't know I just couldn't fall asleep and I'm bored." He said.

"Well you do realize we have school in the morning. You should probably go to bed soon and get at least a little sleep." I said filling up a glass with water from the fridge.

"Yea I guess you're right." Louis acknowledged.

"So," I said taking a swig of water. "Am I just so fun to look at?" I said teasing him about what Millie commented on the instagram most.

"Okay Millie was being dramatic." He said defensive.

"Whatever Louis, I'm only teasing." I said laughing. "But I have to go before I wake everyone up. I'll see you tomorrow morning try to fall asleep, k?"

"Okok I will, thanks Y/n goodnight" He said smiling.

"Night Lou."
