I woke up to a bright beam shining across my room. The light from the window reflected off my mirror and hit my face like a lightning bolt. I slammed a pillow into my face to cover the blinding light and groaned.

I took the pillow off my face and swung my feet off the bed so I was sitting upright and my legs hung off the side. I had a pair of UGG slippers on the floor which I slid both feet into and stood up reaching my arms up and stretching.

It was the end of the first week of school. So far, the week had been fine. It was easy actually because all teachers do is make the class play silly little games to introduce one another even though most of the kids have been at the same school since kindergarten.

I got back into my routine, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a struggle to get up every morning.

The one thing that was still on my mind was Miles. I hadn't seen him since the football game. It wasn't like I thought about him constantly, I really don't even know him, but my mind couldn't help but wonder with curiosity.

Paige goes to our school but Miles doesn't so I haven't seen him around at all.

Loosing that thought, I unplugged my phone from the charger on my nightstand and put on my airpods. I opened my spotify and played a playlist as I walked into my bathroom to start getting ready.

After I finished my skincare and makeup I changed into my uniform and put on some jewlery. I placed a silver moon dangle earring in my first piercing and and silver star dangle in my second. I had a simple small silver hoop in my third and a silver stud in my cartilage. I than put on some rings and grabbed my bag and shoes, leaving my room.

Will and I arrived at the Partridges a little while later. When we walked into the house I instantly smelled something sweet. The whole house had a bright aroma of blueberries and lemons and god did it smell good.

"Hey guys, omg what smells so amazing!?" I let out as I traveled passed the foyer.

"Lemon blueberry scones." Millie replied with a bright smile. "Mum made them before she left this morning. They're still fresh if you want one." She held up the plate which had the scones neatly scattered across.

"Ooo yes please!" I exclaimed taking a scone off the plate and instantly taking a bite.

Will had already placed himself comfortably on the couch where he was on his phone texting someone. Probably Jules. They've been talking a lot more lately. It's kinda cute because I can tell he likes her.

Louis came running down the stares not long after with is bag swung messily over one shoulder. He smiled and greeted us and soon we all left for school.

"Hey so Oliver's having a back to school party tomorrow night. You guys can come if you want." Louis said.

"Sounds good mate." Will responded.

Millie and I looked at each other and smiled. "Okay yea." We both said.

"Hey Will you should invite Jules." I told him.

"Why? You guys friends why don't you just ask her?" He replied annoyed like inviting her was doing a chore for me.

"No like invite her for you." I said with an obvious tone.

"God boys don't get anything." Millie said.

"Literally." I replied and we just laughed.

Will seemed to get the gesture I was making a little more because I could see a small pink tint to his cheeks as he nodded slightly.

We continued to walk to school as our conversations carried separately. Millie and I talking about the party and the boys blabbing off on who knows what.
