Siege of the northern water tribe

I was on a Fire Nation ship, in Fire Nation armor, disguised as a Fire Nation solider. Zuko was also with me, Iroh had sneaked us on to the ship. Zhao has no idea, he thought the two of us had died in the explosion. We were going on the ship to the North Pole and attack the Northern Water Tribe, I wasn't too fond of the idea. Zuko also had planned the catch the Avatar, which I wasn't too happy about either.

When we had reached the Northern Water Tribe, Zuko and I readied a boat to sail out on to. Iroh had come by and told Zuko how he thought of him as a son before we left. We successfully made it to an ice berg without being caught.

"How do we get inside?" I say out loud.

"There" Zuko says, I look over at him and follow his gaze to a hole in the ice.

"No, I'm not jumping into freezing cold water" I say, watching the animals go under.

"This is the only way, come on" Zuko secures his stuff and dives in.

I take a breath and dive in after him. The water was the coldest thing I've ever felt, it was like swimming in ice...well, I was. It was getter harder to breath, but soon enough Zuko had jumped out of the water. I followed him and when I got to the surface, the air was even colder. Zuko's hand was out to help me out, I took it gratefully.

"Shut up" Zuko said as he passed the animals, miraculously making them stop for a second or two.

I walked with Zuko and another ice-water-thingy came into view, I sighed as Zuko jumped in and I followed him. It was longer than the first one, but it was colder too. Zuko had stopped right above an ice brick unable to get out.

I pointed to my hands and placed them on the ice, I used mt fire bending to best of my abilities and Zuko did the same, we broke out of the ice just as I ran out of air. Zuko hopped out and placed his hand down to help me out.

"T-that's c-col-d" I say shivering from the cold, my teeth chattered as I spoke. I also violently rubbed my arms to keep myself warm, I used my fire breath to keep me warm as well.

"Stay here for now" Zuko says, pointing to where I was sitting.

"What? Why?" I say standing up, and ready to go with him.

"I don't want you getting in the way" Zuko says, turning to leave.

"What? Am I a burden now?" I say, crossing my arms.

"No, I don't want you to get hurt, please just stay here" Zuko says, turning around.

"...fine, but if you don't come back in 10 minutes I'm going after you" I say, sitting down.

Zuko nodded and turned to leave, I heard yells and movement from where he was and it was only 7 minutes, but I couldn't wait any longer. I look to where Zuko had left and he was climbing a cliff with Aang stuck to his back. I didn't hesitate to follow him up there, gaining on him quick thanks to fire power.

"I said stay there" Zuko says as he sees me.

"You took too long, you can't get rid of me now" I say, climbing up with him.

When we reach the top a blizzard was forming, we put up our bandanas and walked in the snow, it was cold as ever and I swear my fingers froze off then regrew back.

We found a cave after a while and stayed in there while we waited for the blizzard to pass. I was getting tired and I decided to take a quick nap.

When I wake up (I know I'm gonna be the man that wakes up next to you- okay I'll stop, but that was funny) I was woken by a loud noise and I saw that I was alone, I ran out side and saw Zuko lying on the ground covered in snow with Appa, Katara, Aang, Sokka and some white haired chic.

"Zuko!" I say, running over to him and shoving the snow off him.

"Naoki??" Aang, Katara and Sokka say at once.

"Oh, hey...fancy meeting you here" I say taking the snow off Zuko's face.

I put Zuko up and pulled him over my shoulder, almost falling.

"Naoki, we can take you back" Aang offers.

"What? We will?" Sokka says suddenly alarmed.

"Yes, we will." Aang says, his sweet little face was friendly in ways I couldn't imagine.

"No, I can take him back..." I look around the miles and miles of snow covering the area. "I can take him back..."

"No, hope on, please I insist" Aang says, flying up to Appa head.

I look at the faces of Katara, Sokka and the girl. The girl look scared of my presence, Katara looked at me with a soft expression and Sokka...well he was Sokka he just looked at Zuko with hate.

"Fine" I say, going on the back of Appa's tail and putting Zuko down, not taking my eyes off him.

"This is a really smart idea" Sokka says "Take the guy who is constantly trying to kill us and his girlfriend"

"I'm not his girlfriend" I say, still not taking my eyes away from Zuko.

"Yeah...Sure" Sokka says unconvinced.

I didn't look away from Zuko once, I heard the voices of the others and then a surprising warm space for the north pole. I felt that Appa had stopped flying, I heard more voice, but I didn't take my eyes away from Zuko. Only one voice made me look away, and boy I was happy to see him.

It was Iroh.

"He is right Zhao!" Iroh yells.

Sudden movement from next to me makes me whip my head around to see the eyes of Zuko taking in his surroundings. He got up and gesture me to follow him. I followed him off Appa. We ran away from the area.

The moon then went grey for a reason but me and Zuko kept on running, his hand was intertwined with mine. Zuko saw something in the distance and stopped, telling me to sit where I was and wait. I watched him run off and I saw him stand in front of Zhao, they began fighting.

I saw there mouths move, but I couldn't hear them. Eventually an unnatural blue water thing took Zhao into the water, Zuko offered to help, but Zhao refused. When I saw no threat, I walked up to Zuko.

"Come on, we need to leave"
