The kids were calmed down and Badrae and Vasudev were saved by Devi Jambavathi's kheer..
"This is why you are my favourite .., I love you so much.." Vasudev exclaimed to his second wife..
"Really..!!" the other three asked in unison
"Yes , the three of you are so cruel.. didn't even bother to help when your poor husband was in trouble.. instead you were laughing at me.." he complained
While everyone was enjoying the drama queen's antics , no one noticed how Jambavathi's eyes had become glossy
She was overwhelmed when Krishna confessed his love and declared that she is his favourite, even though it was said as a joke, she had always yearned to hear it from him.

"I want to have a private conversation with you.." Said Balarama to Duryodhan after lunch
"Do you know what it is??" chirped Badhrae to Banu after they left and she shrugged her shoulders..
"Dau wants the prince to marry me.." she replied slightly shy
Banu had almost forgotten about it.. she remembered how this marriage would be called off, how Badhrae would elope with Arjun and how Duryodhan's spite for the Pandavas would increase.
"Do you love him.." Banu enquired as they strolled in the garden , she was expecting her to deny..
"I don't think so.. anyway not yet.." she replied
"Then why are you agreeing for it.." Banu questioned
"I don't have any reason to not agree.. Dau and everyone says he is suitable for me.. we may not be in love now but we have a lot of time.." she spoke frankly
"What did Vasudev say..??
"He asked me to think about it and take a decision from my heart.."
Before she could ask something more , they saw Duryodhan coming to them and Badhra immediately left..
"What did you say.." Banu asked as soon as he came near..
"What do you think..??" he asked back..
To be honest, she was confused.. she was sure he loved her even though they haven't confessed but polygamy was also quite common .. he might plan to marry Badhra for political gain and then marry Banu as he is in love with her. According to him and everyone else it may not be a problem.
"How will I know.. I wasn't eavesdropping.." she replied
"I declined.." he replied casually
"Yo declined.." she hadn't really expected that "Why??"
"Someone once said that a marriage that is decided by the brain without consulting the heart ruins its purity.." he replied like reciting a poem
"So my words do have an impact.." she replied proudly
