Banu would also attend the court with her brothers , help in administrational operations and even help in the training of the soldiers. She became an expert in preparing statistics and analysis that determines different policies. Training in martial arts for soldiers were modified with her efforts and she also developed a secret spy network.

She had good observational skills and thus could suggest more practical changes and ideas. She gained her own place in the court and an office in the administrative block. As her popularity grew, the number of people who despised her also increased, they were present in the Kalinga court also but none of them dared to voice it in front of Maharaj Chitrangadh. They were the orthodox and conservative people who felt that a princess is like a doll.

The royal family was more than proud of their daughter who was one of the most famous ladies of Aryavarth , known for her beauty, bravery and brains. She could overshadow even the queens of famous kingdoms.

As her fame increased, suitors started approaching , Kings and princes requested her hand in marriage.

One day Banu noticed one of her maids crying.

"What is it.. if you don't mind , you can share it with me.." she asked the young girl gently..

Though hesitant, she opened up.. "Two years ago, my father took a loan from a local moneylender . We have paid a lot of money as interest but he still asks for more and now he has given a period of ten days, my father is a poor farmer , he can't pay the money by that time and if he doesn't then he'll kill my father , seize our property and take us as his slaves.. the ten days ends tomorrow. " she whimpered

"Ask the man and your father to be present in the court tomorrow.. Don't worry, nothing will happen to you or anyone in your family.." she assured her.

Banu was disturbed so she went directly to meet her father and presented the matter.

"This isn't an aloof incident.., we need to take actions else many more families would have to suffer.." she said

"Do you have any idea.." he knew his daughter won't come with the problem alone , most probably she might have thought about the solution also..

She told him what she was thinking and he appreciated it

"I want to tell it in front of the court tomorrow.."

"As you wish.." he knew he can trust his daughter not only with finding a solution but also in convincing everyone.

The king asked the moneylender to present records but he was unable to do it so he was ordered to pay a compensation to the family and was given the responsibility for their safety, any harm to the family would result in his imprisonment.
