I looked on curiously as the girl took the elder's blessings , wished Supriya di and hugged Avanthi.. I think they're close.. but why do I feel like I know her..?? who is she..??

She bend down to take an old queen's blessing and I heard her saying.. "Putri Mitravindha, you have grown so big and beautiful.. last time I saw you, you were still a toddler.."

Mithravindha, one of the eight principle consorts of Vasudev Krishna.. but I think the announcement was 'Ujjain Naresh King Jayasena and queen Rajadhidevi'...

Is she also an Ujjaini princess..?? Avanthika's sister..?? My cousin...??

"Banu , where are you lost..??" Princess Mitravinda or Mithra di was waving a hand in front of my eyes..

"She is like this these days.. always lost in some other world.. some times I feel like she isn't my Banu.." Avanthi complained..

We three were talking when someone bumped onto me , spilling some liquid on me in the process..

A pale looking young maid was standing infront of me with her head down .., she had a big vessel in her hand which was half empty now..

"Where were your eyes.., is this how you carry things.." one of the princesses scolded her..

Poor girl, the vessel is quite big for her to carry and it was just an accident..

"It's ok , it was just an accident.. I'll just change and come , it's not like I don't have any other dress.." I joked .. not many noticed as we weren't were not very close to the crowd..

I was walking through the corridor ,behind the guest chambers . The wall had many holes meant for air and light to enter the rooms.

"Your dear uncle is showing partiality again.., he is trying to fix a strong alliance for his dear nephew.." I heard the sly sound of a middle aged man..

I didn't pay much heed to it as such conversations are quite normal within the palace walls..

"He is very well aware that the Kalinga naresh is a powerful ally.. he want them to be more powerful so that he can ascent the throne.." the same voice continued and that struck me..

'Someone is trying to fix my marriage..' I was fighting my urge of eavesdropping , after all it's not a good habit ,when I heard another voice , I think it belongs to a young man.

"Yudhishter is the eldest prince of Hastinapur.., Prime minister Vidur might have thought that it is good if his marriage happen first and soon.."

'Yudhister.., hastinapur, Prime minister Vidur..' 'I think I'm getting an idea of who the speakers are.'

"Putr Aswattama, if finding a wife soon for the eldest prince was the only reason, then didn't Maharaj Chitrangadha said that he doesn't want his daughter to get married at an early age so the wedding can't happen soon but even then Mahamantri urged to fix the alliance and also isn't Yudhister's marriage fixed with Sivi kumari , this proves his intention.."

He was met with silence at the other end..

"I have heard that the princess is very beautiful and smart .."

Really.. Great..

I pout feeling offended

I was about to leave when I heard another voice..

"We aren't here for any political reasons so no plotting till the wedding gets over.., I have promised Mitr and Babhishree that nothing will go wrong and for your kind information, I didn't come to the room because I was angry but to change my angavastram.. thanks to that careless maid.." a strong masculine voice reverberated in the room..
