True Life

"Wow. Kids running the meeting... I'm so proud."

"Oh shut up Stark." I laugh. I turn towards Loki and Thor. "Can you boys please tell a brief summary of who I am please."

"Why?" Thor asks. I glare at him. "Alright.... Loki?"

"Fine. You are Meredith."

"Meredith?" Steve asks

"Shush. Let him finish."

"You are the second born and daughter of the Alfheim King and Queen. You are half Light Elf and half Asgard. You have been our playmate since you were able to talk and you have studied magic with me since we were both old enough. You are strong and fierce and are mean in a truthful way. You always speak your mind and you aren't afraid to."

"Thank you. Now can you please tell the group what happened when Frost giants attack Odins vault." Loki dropped his gaze. "Thor?"

"When they attacked the vault you were nearly killed and were in a sleep for months."

"Thank you. Do you all understand my life." They nod.

"Sorry to hear that kid but I don't understand how this relates to anything."

"I'm getting to that." I sigh. "There is this girl named Miranda."

"Miranda? Are you talking in third person?" Tony asks

"I Swear If One Of You Speaks Before I Am Finished I Will Rip Out Your Tongue!" I glared at them.

"No one is to interrupt Miranda until she lets you. Got it?" Fury asks they nod. "Go ahead."

"So. Miranda is an orphan. Parents died in some accidents. She never got adopted but that doesn't matter. She met her best friend in the foster care. Her name is Alex." I see Tony's eyes light up. "In high school Miranda was a top student and even got into a mechanics program at school. That is where she learned and perfected he skills. One day she was called into work. By the way she works at a very well known car mechanics and I don't want to brag but she is the best they have." I laugh and Fury and Tony smile. "So on this day she is doing a normal wheel change which means she needs to lift the car and get under it...... so she did obviously." Tony's smile fades a little. "While she was standing under the car fixing it another car somehow ran into the lift that was holding the car up. Causing it to fall on her. And now she is in a coma state."

"Is she ok?" Cap asks. I glare at him. "Sorry."

"My theory is when Meredith nearly died she actually did. And when Miranda got crushed she also died for a second. That is the only logical explanation I can assume." I look up at them. Than at Thor and Loki. "I am not Meredith your childhood friend. I am Miranda. A girl from the future."

"What?!" The whole group says. Other than Fury.

"She will never get this story done if you don't let her finish!" Fury yells.

"Thanks..." I look to the Gods. "I am not your childhood friends and I am sorry if I lead you on. It wasn't my intention." Loki stands up and walks out.

"I'll go get him." Thor stands.

"No. You need to stay for the rest." He nods and sits

"Continue."

"In the future they have movies of all of the Avengers major events. That is why it seems like I always am prepared and know everything. It's only because I do. I tried to save as many lives as I could possibly without breaking the timeline to much which is why I never told any of you. But that is not why I wanted to talk to all of you." I breath in and back out. "Remember when Pietro carried me away and I fainted." They nod. "It seems Meredith is waking up from her coma, and when that happens my mind is transferred back for a while.... I don't know when but soon Meredith and my mind while go back to there original bodies."

"What do you mean kid?"

"I mean whenever Meredith wakes up I will go back to my time and she will come back to hers."

"What?" Cap doesn't understand.

"It means she is leaving!" Tony stands up. "Aren't you?" I nod. He storms out.

"Is there anyway to stop it?"

"No Steve. I spoke to the best sorceress and she says there is nothing I can do." He nods and looks at the table. "But don't worry. I will write down all future events vaguely so it doesn't ruin the timeline." I look at Thor. "I need Thor help next."

"What may I do Miranda."

"I know where Bruce is. His plane somehow landed in a worm hole in the ocean and was sent to Sakar. The only way to get there is to leave the Bifrost while your in it. Sakar is a place for the lost. It's is run by the grandmaster who is a creepy playboy with loony smarts. Actually Pietro you might like it there."

"Hey!" Pietro laughs. I chuckle

"Hulk will be named his grand champion. He has a colosseum where he battles other warriors.... before I interfered with the timeline you and Loki were supposed to be pushed from the Bifrost by an enemy and find banner. But now since I have postponed that enemy we need to get the Hulk."

"Can I come?" Nat asks. "If it doesn't interfere with the timeline."

"Yes. It would be nice if you could calm him down. But be warned Hulk will not want to come back. Right now he is being praised because he is the Champion. He thinks everyone on Earth hates him. He only changes because Thor shows him a video of you Nat." She smiles. "But. Once we get there we need to get out through the biggest wormhole in the sky. The whole planet is filled with them. And Nat. We need to get one of his ships, maybe you can woo him?... he might seem like a stupid guy but don't be fooled." She nods.

"What is next than?" Steve asks.

"You guys end up building an Avengers campus instead of SHIELD and train the new recruits." I point to Vision and the twins. "If I don't come back in time or if I am not myself Alex will send the main participants a summary of what is about to happen."

"Why are you just acting like this is all ok." Steve asks a little annoying. "You just told us you are leaving and then skip the subject all together?"

"What do you expect me to do? There is no way to stop it! I hate to leave here. You guys are like my family. I feel like I belong here and now it's being snatched away. I am not ok with it. I am just trying to keep my cool. Many times I though 'oh don't get attached. You will leave them. Oh this is just a dream and you will wake up soon'. But I got attached and I will wake up. And the messed up part is that I will most likely still have all of the memories from here and I will never get to see you again!" I stand up.

"Miranda?" Tears stroll down my cheek.

"I just need a minute ok? I just have had this whole thing bottled up. I just. I need a minute." I walk out. But before I make it out of there sight the ringing starts again. I grab onto the wall and someone quickly grabs me.
