We Won

Loki's POV

I was killing creature after creature with no end. Kill one, another one pops up. I don't know what is happening around me. I only focus on staying alive, for Mer. I felt strong magic form far away from me but I was to focused on the battle to try and figure out what it was. Then all the creatures started to turn to dust. One by one they floated away. She did it, Mer did it. She beat Thanos like she said she would.

"Where is she? Where is Mer?!" I asked frantically through the comms.

"Head to the forest." Steve said. I teleported as far as I can see until I saw the Avengers surrounding a tree. No.... I ran over.

"What are you doing? What happened! Where's Mer?!" I asked as I got close to them. They all looked at me sad, they moved to reveal Mer unconscious leaning against a tree. Tony was next to her, checking her vitals. "I can heal her, I can." I knelt by her and took off her glove. I threw it to Wanda. "Do what Mer wanted, get Vision back." She nodded and walked away. I placed my hands on Mer and started to heal her injuries. But she was right. The scares from the stones wouldn't heal, her arm was destroyed.

"Is she going to be ok? She has a faint heartbeat." Tony asked scared.

"I can't heal what the stones did to her. But I am healing other wounds." I start to tear up. "Come on Mer." I send more magic into her.

"Brother dont over do it." Thor scolded. "It will help no one if you hurt yourself." I shake my head.

"I don't care. She has to come back." Her breathing became normal and she takes in a deep breath but her eyes don't open.

"Is she ok?" Nat asked. "We should take her to Wakandas medical room."

"She is healed as much as I can heal her." I said as I picked her up. I saw Vision round the corner with Wanda. She nodded at me. I then teleported us to the building to take Mer to the medical room.

Third Person POV

"Ill be taking this." Stephan said as he pried the time stone out of the glove. The team turned to him.

"Which one is the soul stone?" Rocket asked Stephan. Stephan took out the soul stone and made a orange protection shield around it.

"This is the soul stone." Stephan handed it to Rocket... Quil, Drax, Mantis, Groot, and Nebula walked up to Rocket. Rocket turned to them.

"Miranda said this can get Gamora back. A soul for a soul." Quil smiled.

"We need to go to Vormer." Nebula said. "That is where Thanos took Gamora." Rocket nodded then turned to the group.

"It was nice meeting you guys. I'll be back." Rocket said.

"Yes, I will have your vibranium waiting." T'Challa said as he went to check on Miranda.

"Oh... I meant I was going to come back to check on Miranda but vibranium sounds good to." Rocket chuckled. The Guardians then left to head to the ship.

"I am going to go check on Miranda." Bucky said to Steve.

"I think we all are going to check on Miranda." Steve said and everyone nodded. "She's one of us." Bucky smiled as Steve patted his back.

"Hey guys?" Wanda said, the group turned to her. "Miranda looked like she was in pain before she snapped her fingers."

"Thanos threw her into a tree if you didn't notice." Tony spoke as he tore off his crunched suit.

"No I mean in pain like her mind was trying to get back." They all stiffened.

"Are you saying that isn't Miranda anymore?" Tony laughed sadly. "No. It's still Miranda. Just wait till she wakes up."

"Tony." Wanda said. "Just be cautious." Tony nodded

They all started to walk to the building in silence. They kept walking until one of the transports stopped next to them. When they got back to the main building they were escorted to the med bay to see Miranda still unconscious. Loki was by her side holding her hand, using his magic again. Shuri stopped talking to her brother when saw them and walked out to talk to them.

"How is she?" Steve asked.

"Her nerves on her left shoulder to her fingers are destroyed. It's a dead limb at this point." Shuri said.

"Is there anyway to fix it?" Bucky asked. Shuri pointed to his arm. "A metal arm?" Shuri nods.

"Her arm is gone Bucky. There is no saving it.... But other than her arm she is ok. She is just unconscious. Loki has healed her back to health." Shuri sadly smiled. "I have monitors just in case."

"Do you know how long she will be out?" Tony asked Shuri. Shuri shook her head 'no'. "At least she of fine."

"Why don't you all get some rest. You did just battle aliens. And I think Loki can take care of her." Shuri walked back into the room. Thor followed.

"Brother." Thor put his hand on Loki's shoulder. "Stop over using your magic. When she wakes you will be to tired to greet her."

"I just need to make sure." Loki said as he withdraws his powers. "I can't loose her Thor. I understand if Miranda leaves but.... what if I forget about her?"

"You won't forget. She will be fine brother. You just need patience." Loki looked to his brother.

"Thank you." Thor nodded and walked out.

"I can take you to the living quarters." T'Challa said as he walked out of the room following Thor.

"I think I'll stay." Tony said. "You guys go ahead and I'll send word if anything changes." They nod. The Avengers left Miranda in the hands of Shuri, Loki, and Tony.

Merediths POV

I was in a dark room, not the same one I have visited a couple times in the past years. I walked straight until I reached a red skinned man in a black cloak.

"Meredith, daughter of Grentz." The creature spoke.

"Yes..... who are you?" I asked

"I am the keeper of the soul stone. The guide for lost souls like yourself. The man in between, cursed with knowledge of all souls." I nod.

"Where am I?" I backed away as he floated a little closer.

"A place where souls pass through, except you and Miranda. You both are lost souls, both with a confused stance in life." The Keeper said.

"Who's Miranda?" His face kept its frown.

"A woman from another dimension." He said. "You both were on the brink of death and when you were revived your souls went into the wrong host."

"I don't understand." He sighed and then a woman appeared on the other side of him. She waved at me.

"Hello Meredith." She smiled.
