The Fight

There is no way I can stay. Tony's option of the robot sounded nice but it wouldn't be me. I would go back to my world and live my life without them and they would have robot me. Maybe I am being selfish, it's just unfair. I walked into the lab and say Shuri working on her high tech computer.

"Hey." I said as I sit next to her. She doesn't look at me. "Shuri?"

"When were you planning to tell me you are from the future and that you are leaving after the battle is won?" I looked at her computer and see a box with a video surveillance of the Avengers in the room. "I think Starks idea was nice, I could give you major upgrades." She looked at me. "Were you going to tell me?"

"I wasn't thinking about it." I said shyly.

"So you were just going to keep me in the dark until I find out it's not you who I am talking to?" She looks hurt. "I thought we were closer than that."

"We are. It's just I didn't want you to freak out then try to find a solution like Tony and his robot idea." She looked back to her screen. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have kept it a secret. Everyone already treats me like I am dying and I love how you are always so cheery around me. I didn't want that to end."

"I forgive you. But I still don't understand why you won't try Tony's idea." She looked to me.

"I'm selfish I guess." She squinted her eyes. "You guys will be left with a robot when I go back to my world. I won't have anything except memories." She nods. "I also think it is very unhealthy to make a person into a robot because you will miss them. It's creepy." Shuri chuckles.

"I guess you are right." She stands. "In that case let's go have fun." She grabs my hand and pulls me away.

For the rest of our time she gave me a tour of all of her favorite places and we talked. I told her everything about my life back in my dimension and how they were all movie characters in documentaries. Not fake people. I told her how everyone loves her personality and everyone wants to be her friend. We had the best time together, we might have pranked a couple people. Shuri got it all on video to look back to.

But now our time is up and we all got the heads up that something entered Earths atmosphere. We all suited up and got into Wakandas transports and headed down to the battle ground just like in the movie.

"T'Challa." He looked to me. "Advice. Trust your own judgement." I winked. He nodded. I went back to Loki.

"Ready?" I asked. He smiled. "I like your smile."

"And I like you." He said sadly. "Promise you will say goodbye before you leave." He cupped my cheek.

"I will try. But after Thanos is gone I don't want Wanda to keep me here. I need to go back, Meredith needs to come back." I held his hand to my cheek. "Don't worry. You will have your brother and the Avengers." I chuckle. Loki's rolls his eyes.

"They aren't as good company as you are." He chuckles. "Are you going to be ok in your world?"

"Yea. I have Alex. Hopefully my body isn't badly damaged so I can go back to work." I shrug. "Oh my god! Meredith!" Loki squinted his eyes in confusion. "When I use the stones my arm with be harmed. Shit." Meredith please don't hate me...

"I can heal it." Loki says.

"Can you fix something caused my the most powerful items in the universe." He shrugged.

"I can try." He kissed me. "We are here." I turned to see everyone getting off the transport.

"Mmm. I guess let's start this." I grabbed Loki's hand and walked to the front of the group.
